After JEXPO and VOCLET exams have been scrapped, admissions to the Purulia Polytechnic are based mainly on merit. The performance of the candidates in grade 10 will be taken into consideration for admissions. Candidates interested in securing admissions to the Purulia Polytechnic should be Indian citizens and should have passed grade 10 or equivalent with English, physical science, science, and mathematics.
