Overall: RVCE is a very well balanced college in terms of the college life to academics and placements. I won't say it's an ideal college but you will cherish every memory which you make here when you leave.
Placement: The placements here is probably the best part as it is comparable to the best nits and other top colleges of India. Nearly everyone who wants a job gets a job here.
Faculty: The faculty members here are knowledgeable and have a lot of experience in this field. There is however a lack of good communication skills in some of them. There is a bit of favouritism towards the natives of Karnataka also so you'll have to deal with that.
Hostel: I don't really live in the college hostel but a pg nearby named Stanza living, but I've heard the hostels here are clean and spacious. There are common bathrooms tho but overall it's good.
Overall: this is very good collage ,, infrastructure of this collage is really wellldone ,, with all afcilities like big classrmm, neat and clean mess,,thanks,,
Overall: Some of the top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Uber, Adobe, Cisco, Flipkart, Intel, Samsung, and Goldman Sachs visit the college for placements. As a placement coordinator of RVCE, I can say that it is one of the best colleges for students aspiring for good placements after their graduation.

Overall: The infrastructure as gone so bad and worse that the construction is occupied the entire campus and the studies has gone bad that the teachers no more care for your knowledge just focus on ur placements
Placement: As of now the placements here are going good, but seeing the trends recently and the crowd getting big the competition will increase dramatically and it will make the rank go down more
Infrastructure: The infrastructure has gone bad and the construction everywhere will lead u to a short campus and a smoke filled dusty environment which doesn’t disappear at anytime soon, so expect nothing special
Faculty: They just teach for ur temporary lesson which may sustain only till you get ur placements done and the marks oriented minds will never get the true knowledge required in any topic
Overall: The main feature of rvce is the innovative syllabus with focuses on finding solutions to problems and has more importance to outcome based learning. We are required to present projects right from the 1st sem which is really helpful and lots of clubs both technical and cultural make it a great experience.
Placement: Rvce’s circuital branch placements are one of the best in Karnataka and even the mechanical engineering also has a very high quality due to its tie ups with companies such as Mercedes Benz.
Infrastructure: As of now there is a lot of construction happening in the campus but once finished I believe it will have state of the art gymnasium and sports facilities.
Faculty: The teachers at rvce are knowledgeable and are cooperative. They mainly encourage in the EL(experiencal learning) which helps the students understand better and get in depth knowledge.
Hostel: There are two hostels for the boys, Krishna and cavery, which is close to the educational blocks and girls have one hostel inside the campus and another outside.
Overall: You will experience a completely different world at RVCE. It’s a great feeling studying in this prestigious college. You have to word hard and the faculty is always there to guide you. There are amazing fests. You will definitely have a great BE program if you choose RVCE.
Placement: RVCE is one of Bengaluru’s best colleges. People choose this college because of the placements. This year the highest offer was 94 LPA. You definitely have to work hard. If you work hard you will definitely get a good placement. All the departments have a good placement record. It’s really not about CS core branches.
Infrastructure: Honestly the buildings may seem to be old but that is not the era to join a college. It’s a very prestigious institution and has facilities who have lot of experience. The campus is area is very good and has many trees. It has a very big canteen and 2 small canteens. It has very big ground. There is free access of internet across the entire college.
Hostel: The hostels are how it is supposed to be. People don’t complain much about the hostels and I think that is a good review. The food is fine and there was no instance of food poisoning due to hostel food. They provide good quality meals and other services are also available.
Overall: As a first-year student embarking on the journey of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) at RV College of Engineering, I find myself immersed in an environment that both challenges and nurtures my aspirations. The college, renowned for its academic excellence and state-of-the-art facilities, offers a robust curriculum designed to lay a solid foundation in AI and ML. Moreover, the vibrant campus life and the diverse student community enhance the overall learning experience, fostering innovation and collaboration. While the journey is demanding, the support system and resources available at RV College of Engineering make it an enriching experience, setting the stage for a promising future in the AI and ML domain.
Placement: The placement record at RV College of Engineering (RVCE) is a testament to the institution's commitment to bridging the gap between academic preparation and industry requirements. Known for its robust placement cell, RVCE attracts a plethora of reputable companies from across various sectors, including technology, finance, consulting, and core engineering, offering students a wide range of career opportunities. Year after year, RVCE boasts impressive placement statistics, with a high percentage of its graduating students securing positions in top-tier firms. Notable technology giants and multinational corporations are regular visitors during the placement season, drawn by the quality and readiness of the students. The average package offered to RVCE graduates is commendable and often exceeds industry standards, highlighting the value employers place on the skills and competencies of RVCE alumni. However, it's worth noting that while the placement cell's efforts result in successful placement drives, students express a desire for more diverse opportunities, especially in emerging fields like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and sustainable engineering. Despite this, the proactive initiatives by the placement cell, including workshops, industry interaction sessions, and internships, play a crucial role in equipping students with the necessary skills and confidence to navigate the competitive job market. The success of RVCE's placement cell is not just in the numbers but in the comprehensive preparation and support it provides to students, ensuring they step into their professional lives on a solid footing.
Infrastructure: RV College of Engineering (RVCE) presents a unique blend of traditional and modern educational infrastructure. Walking through the campus, one cannot help but notice the contrast between the age-old buildings and the advanced technological facilities within. While the historical charm of the older structures adds a sense of legacy, it's evident that these buildings have seen better days, with some in need of renovation to meet contemporary standards. However, stepping inside the classrooms, the scenario shifts dramatically. Equipped with smart boards and digital learning tools, these rooms are a testament to RVCE's commitment to providing a cutting-edge learning environment. The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) building stands out as the crown jewel of the campus, boasting the best infrastructure with state-of-the-art labs and equipment. This juxtaposition highlights a campus in transition, striving to balance its rich heritage with the demands of modern education. Despite the drawbacks of older facilities, RVCE's efforts to integrate advanced technology ensure that students have access to high-quality education and resources.
Faculty: The faculty at RV College of Engineering (RVCE) stand as pillars of the institution's long-standing reputation for academic excellence. With a diverse blend of experienced professors and dynamic young lecturers, the faculty brings a wealth of knowledge, research expertise, and industry experience to the classroom. They are deeply committed to the intellectual growth and personal development of their students, often going beyond the call of duty to mentor and guide them through academic and career challenges. The faculty's approach to teaching is characterized by a blend of traditional and innovative methods, incorporating practical applications and real-world problem-solving into the curriculum. This hands-on approach not only enhances the learning experience but also prepares students for the demands of the industry. However, like any institution, the faculty body at RVCE is not without its challenges. Some students have voiced the need for more interactive and engaging teaching methods in certain departments, pointing out areas where improvement could further elevate the educational experience. Despite these criticisms, the faculty's dedication to fostering a nurturing and stimulating academic environment is evident. Their involvement in cutting-edge research projects offers students unique opportunities to engage in research, contributing to RVCE's reputation as a center for innovation and excellence in engineering education. The faculty's strength lies not just in their academic and professional achievements but in their genuine interest in the success and well-being of their students.
Hostel: The hostels at RV College of Engineering, notably Chamundi and Krishna, offer a glimpse into the life of students residing on campus. Chamundi Hostel, catering primarily to female students, provides a secure and comfortable living environment. Its rooms, though not the epitome of luxury, are well-maintained and equipped with basic amenities ensuring a pleasant stay. The hostel fosters a strong sense of community and support among the residents, making it a home away from home. Krishna Hostel, on the other hand, houses male students and mirrors a similar atmosphere of camaraderie and academic focus. The rooms are functional and cater to the needs of students, with access to common areas where residents can relax and socialize. Both hostels benefit from a dedicated management team focused on the well-being of the students, though feedback suggests room for improvement in facilities and food quality. While the infrastructure might not compare to more modern accommodations, the spirit of RVCE's hostels lies in their vibrant student community. They serve as a crucible for forging lasting friendships and nurturing academic collaboration. The hostels could benefit from updates and renovations to enhance comfort and living standards, but the essence of a supportive and engaging student life remains strong
