Sri Aurobindo College (SAC) New Delhi is a Government college established in the year 1972. The college upholds Sri Aurobindo's beliefs, which state that a proactive dedication to excellence is essential to the educational process. It is a constituent college of Delhi University and has grown significantly in terms of academics, facilities, and infrastructure over the past year. The mission of Sri Aurobindo College is to deliver high-quality instruction in a variety of subjects while fostering a student-centred environment. It is accredited with a B+ grade from NAAC and is affiliated to the University of Delhi.

The college has a dedicated training and placement cell which is very active and works on bridging the gap between academia and industry. The Sri Aurobindo College placement cell oversees all on-campus placement and internship-related activities. The college's placement cell arranges a variety of training programmes for the students to prepare them for the Sri Aurobindo College recruitment programmes.

Several national and international companies take part in the SAC Delhi placements. Students have landed positions in industries including banking, insurance, finance, sales and marketing, hospitality, customer support, consulting and many more, during the Sri Aurobindo College placements season.

The Sri Aurobindo College placement cell is continuously working towards the student's proper academic development, to help them secure the job opportunities they desire. The cell works on the development of different skills in the students at the undergraduate level. It invites mass recruiters and product-based companies for the Sri Aurobindo College recruitment programme. 

The Sri Aurobindo College placement cell also provides placement and internship opportunities for every student of the college. The cell organises workshops, guest lectures, industry visits, seminars and job fairs as well. Some of the activities organised by the SAC placements cell are:

• Under the aegis of IQAC, the training and placement cell of Sri Aurobindo College hosted a live and interactive session with Mr Alok Bansal, a well-known speaker and career counsellor. It provided college students with a chance to expand their job opportunities. More than 200 students took part.
• Sri Aurobindo College placement cell organised a five-day student development workshop called ‘Grow’ to guide the students towards their professional careers. The workshop covered topics like solving case studies, career planning and interview tips, entrepreneurship and finding happiness, CAT preparation strategy, resume writing, soft skills, civil services as a career, etc. The workshop was attended by 100+ students. 

The Sri Aurobindo College alumni are placed in some of the reputed companies and organisations in sectors like general management, academics, banking, finance and entrepreneurship.

Sri Aurobindo College Internships

The Sri Aurobindo College placement cell organised a job and internship fair- ‘NEEV’ for students to appear for interviews in around 29+ companies. More than 1000 students from the University of Delhi and other universities participated in the programme. Around 315 students showed up for the interviews and submitted applications for 1435 job and internship openings.
