Sri Venkateswara College is among the most reputed colleges affiliated with the University of Delhi. It is located beside the South Campus. The college has nominal fees as compared to other private universities. The annual fees of Sri Venkateswara College are designed in an economical way. There are also various scholarships offered to students who belong to financially weaker sections. Besides this, students can avail themselves of government scholarships as well. Below are the two main concessions offered as part of the Sri Venkateswara College Scholarship:
This scholarship is government-funded. Students who perform exceptionally well but belong to the economically weaker sections can access this concession. The student must have attained a minimum of 50% in their last examination as part of the Sri Venkateswara College eligibility criteria. Moreover, the family income of the students must not cross Rs 2.5 lakh per annum. A concession of Rs 20,000 on fee for one year and a benefit of Rs 1,000 for the hostellers are components of this scheme.
This scholarship is designed for economically weak students. For students whose family income is not more than Rs 2 lakh and who have scored at least 50% in their previous examination, this scholarship is valid. Rs 3,000 per annum along with maintenance of Rs 570 is provided for one academic year. This amount can also be renewed provided the students get more than 50% in their end examinations as well.
The above scholarships are excluded from the Sri Venkateswara College DU fee structure.
