Candidates shaalll have passed any bachilor degree examination of Mangalore Univversity or any university considered as equivalent thereto, with not less than 50%(45% for SC/ST and Category I candidates) of the aggregate marks of all the years of cource of study including language subjects. The applicant must also be a karnataka student as defined by the government of Karnataka from time to time. The eligibility Criteria as defiend by the Government of Karnataka from time to time shall be followed. Those candidates who already posses a Masters degree in any subject and apply for admission to another Master Degree programme, shall be considered for admission only after all other eligible candidates have been considered. However, this clause shall not be applicable for admission to M.B.A degree programme.
10+2 Passed from recognized Board/University.
Graduates with minimum 50% marks with a valid score in any of the entrance test conducted at National/State Level viz CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ KMAT/ PGCET/ CMAT etc for admissions to PG Courses in Management
Candidates shall have passed the Bachilor Degree examinations with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of all the years of the Degree examination. However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Category-I, the aggregate percentage of mards of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be lass than 45%. Provided that the candidates shall have passed Bachilor Degree with not less than50% marks with Mathamatics /Statistics / Computer Science /Computer Applications /Computer Programming /Business Mathamatics / Business Statistics as one of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/Category-I, the percentage of marks shall not be less than 45% marks in that subject shall be considered for admission.
The candidates who have passed the two years Pre University Examination (Class x11 or 10+2) Conducted by the Pre University Education Board, Karnataka or any other Board considered equivalent thereto by Mangalore University are eligible for admission.
A candidate seeking admission must have:
45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in the 12th std.
Incase of SC/ST 40% marks only are required. OR
Any other examination recognized by State / Central Govt. / RGUHS. OR
Must have passed Vocational Higher Secondary Examination of Kerala with 45% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. In case of SC/ST candidates only 40% is required.

The candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
Candidates should have passed PUC/12th standard and should have obtained 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (taken together) and should have passed English as one of the subjects. The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of admission.
A Candidate who has secured at least 50% marks in aggregate either in the Bachelor’s Degree and / or in the Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/ Humanity shall be eligible for admission to the degree of Bachelor of Education. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other Qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the B.Ed Degree.
A Pass in PUC (10+2) or its equivalent examination with 45% (40% for SC/ST/Category I) aggregate marks with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics and the candidate shall have studied and passed in English as one of the subjects.
The candidates who have passed B.E./ B.Tech examinations of VTU or any other recognized University with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. In case of candidates belongs to SC/ST and Group-I, the aggregate percentage marks of all the years of qualification shall not be less than 45%
