SRM University Selection Criteria for UG Courses

SRM University Selection Criteria for PG Courses

The following is the selection criteria for SRM Chennai admission for PG courses.

• Selections Based on Entrance Exams
  • For ME/ MTech admission, selection is based on GATE, JEE Main, SRMJEEE (PG), CEETA, etc.
  • For the MBA, the selection is based on CAT, NMAT, SRMJEEM, TANCET MBA, CMAT, etc.
  • For MCA admission, selection is based on TANCET.
• Entrance Exam Qualifications

Prospective students who clear the exam with the required cutoff marks will be extended an offer of admission. After this, they will be required to pay the admission fee for seat confirmation.

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Marks

For most postgraduate courses, students must receive at least 50-55% aggregate marks in their bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.

• As per the SRM Chennai admission process, the first step is that candidates need to fill up the application form by paying the required application fee.
• For this, they need to visit the SRMIST official website, download the application form for their preferred course, fill in the required details and attach the requisite documents in the correct format. Along with the self-attested scanned documents candidates must also submit a photograph Image: Size should be between 10 kb and 200 kb with a dimension of 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm.
