The institute was established under the aegis of Sh. Raghunath Rai Memorial Education & Charitable Trust. The SVIET campus is located 30 kilometres from Chandigarh on the NH-1 Chandigarh-Patiala National Highway. The campus is well connected with prime areas like Chandigarh, Mohali, Ambala, Patiala and Panchkula and offers all the necessary facilities to the students.
