The Uttarakhand Open University admission 2024 for UG and PG programmes is ongoing. The last date to apply online is February 28, 2023. The application process started on January 1, 2023. Candidates willing to apply can do it via the official website.

For the UOU admission process 2023 for MBA, the CAT 2022 Result was released on December 21, 2022, on the official website (iimcat.ac.in) by IIM Bangalore. Candidates had to download the CAT 2022 Result Scorecard in PDF format.

The only open university in the state of Uttarakhand, Uttarakhand Open University (UOU), was founded with the intention of offering undergraduate and graduate online learning programmes. It was authorised by the State Government Act of 2005, and the Distance Education Council (DEC) and UGC have both acknowledged it. The Uttarakhand Open University (UOU) was founded on October 31, 2005, by an act of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly (Act No. 23 of 2005), strictly in accordance with the philosophy of the ODL system. The university's mission is to disseminate knowledge and skills through distance learning while promoting "Independent Learning" through the use of adaptable and cutting-edge teaching strategies. Through more than 90 Study Centers set up in various parts of the state under the auspices of eight Regional Centres in Dehradun, Roorkee, Pauri, Uttarkashi, Ranikhet, Bageshwar, Haldwani, and Pithoragarh, UOU provides its programmes. While admission to all other programmes at the university is merit-based, admission to the Uttarakhand Open University MBA admission is dependent on performance on the university entrance exam, the CAT, or the MAT. Applications are accepted for the different courses offered by the Uttarakhand Open University (UOU) in two cycles, the Summer Session and the Winter Session. 

• One session's application cannot be used for another session. 
• Students may submit applications either offline or online. 
• While offline applications can be obtained from many study centres, online applications must be submitted through the UOU website's admission portal. 
• All UG and PG programmes provide direct admission on a first come, first served basis.

Uttarakhand Open University application process generally starts in January every year with the release of the application form for various programs. The selection criteria for UOU courses are different for different one another. The application process for Uttarakhand Open University is completely online. To complete the UOU application form, candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

• Visit the official Uttarakhand Open University admission portal.
• Select the programme and fill out the registration form with the required information, like educational qualification details, personal details, contact number, and address.
• Scan signatures and colour photographs and upload them along with the Uttarakhand Open University application form.

• Shortlisted candidates will be directly called for group discussion and personal interviews. UOUadmission is granted on the basis of the candidate's performance in all the selection rounds.
• Uttarakhand Open University Entrance Exam scores are mandatory to get admission to courses.  
• Qualified candidates in the examination are invited for viva vice by the UOU admission committee (the admission committee is different for different courses). The selection of candidates for UOU admission is made based on their overall performance in the last qualifying examination, Entrance Test marks, and Viva-voce marks.
• PhD aspirants are exempted from entrance exams only if they have qualified for national-level entrance examinations such as UGC/ CSIR NET (JRF) examination, SET, GATE (with a valid score), or Teacher Research Fellowship.
• Merit lists are prepared for each category, i.e., candidates belonging to categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PWD, and EWS are eligible for marks concession as per the approved admission Policy of Uttarakhand Open University.

Candidates should adhere to the following guidelines in order to apply to UOU:

Online Mode

• The UOU application form, which is accessible on the official website, must be filled out by candidates.
• Before filling out the form, they must carefully read the instructions. 
• Then, they must enter information (such as the programme, study location, etc.) and upload the required paperwork. 
• Making an online payment via net banking, a debit card, a credit card, or a challan is the next step. 
• They must take a printout of the form and submit it to the study facility along with references at that point.

Offline Mode

• Candidates must pay the necessary fee at the related Study Centers or University Headquarters to get the prospectus and application form. 
• Then, they must provide a signed certificate and self-attested photocopies of the necessary papers.

Students looking for distant learning options for higher education can choose from a number of degree programmes provided by UOU. B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, Bachelor of Yogic Science, Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM), and Bachelor of Hotel Management are among the UG programmes that the institution offers (BTM). 

The primary requirement for admission to UG programmes is passing the class 12 exam in the pertinent stream. All courses have direct admissions based on merit and subject to seat availability. To guarantee their seats after receiving admission notice, candidates are urged to register as soon as feasible.

Important Information for Undergraduate Admission: 

• Students with diplomas in yoga and naturopathy from UOU may apply straight to the second year of the B. Yogic Science programme. 
• Candidates who don't have math at the 10+2 level must complete one qualifying math exam while enrolled in the programme. 
• If applicants hold a diploma in information technology or computer application, they may be admitted via lateral entry into the BCA programme.

The University of Oklahoma at Norman (UOU) offers a variety of postgraduate courses, including the M.A. in eleven subject specialisations, the M.Sc. in three subject specialisations, the MCA with lateral entry, the M.Com, the M.Sw., the LLM, the M.A. in journalism and mass communication (MAJMC), the MHM, and the MTTM.

• Candidates for MCA and MSCIT who do not have mathematics at the 10+2 or graduate level must pass one qualifying mathematics paper. 
• Candidates from the restricted category are granted a 5% relaxation while applying for LLM. 
• While some courses use the semester system, others rely on a yearly assessment system.

Additionally, the institution provides Post Graduate Diplomas in a range of specialities. A graduate degree is required as a minimum requirement. The PGDs primarily operate on a first-come, first-served basis for admissions. 

The institution also provides MBA and PGDM programmes in marketing and human resources. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% (45% for candidates from the restricted category). Which is either done through university-conducted admission exams or national level entrance exams like the CAT or MAT.

Applications are being accepted for the summer and winter sessions, and applicants have the choice of applying online or offline. Candidates must adhere to the instructions provided in order to properly submit an application.

• Through the payment channel (debit/credit card or net banking), fees can be paid online. 
• By using a BOB/SBI Bank Challan, candidates may also pay offline. 
• Take a printout of the application and provide it, together with references, to the study facility.

UOU Admission Offline Mode:

• By paying the necessary cost, the prospectus and application form may also be received from the relevant Study Centers or the University Headquarters. 
• The applicant must provide a signed certificate in the specified format together with self-attested photocopies of their original documentation.

By providing a variety of short-term courses in online learning, including a Diploma in 18 specialisations, a PG Diploma in 10 specialisations, and a Certificate Program in 31 specialisations, the university prepares its students for a variety of industry-related tasks.
