The college owns a rich and full fledged library, splendid animal house, spacious auditorium cum convention centre, secure hostel accommodation, air conditioned lecture theaters, clean and hygienic canteen etc. Some of the facilities include well ventilated classrooms, recreational areas, hostel facility for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor games, stocked library, seamless internet connectivity, medical facilities etc.
The Foundation Stone of Patel Niwas, a postgraduate Hostel, was laid down by Dr. C.D. Deshmukh, Vice-Chancellor, University of Delhi on April 7, 1962. It was inaugurated on April 6, 1965 by Dr. C.D. Deshmukh on the XVI Foundation Day of the Institute.
It is situated near the main building of the V.P. Chest Institute. The hostel is a 3-storeyed building consisting of 30 rooms, 10 rooms on each floor for boys and girls studying D.M., M.D., DTCD and Ph.D. courses in the Institute. The rooms are free furnished and facilities of common room (for visitors, reading and watching TV. etc.). There is a well equipped Mess with dining room and kitchen having all modern facilities. The rooms are allotted to the students of VPCI on first cum first serve basis.
