BJMC Course Overview

BJMC full form is Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication. It is a three-year undergraduate degree in Journalism and Media that teaches how to gather and transmit news to the general public. BJMC course is available in various modes of study such as full-time, part-time, and online/ distance learning. Types of BJMC Course

BJMC course can be completed both full-time and through distance learning:

Full-Time BJMC Course

The majority of applicants choose to enroll in a full-time BJMC programme because doing so increases their chances of finding better employment. On the basis of the entrance exam or the merit list, admission is granted. IPU CET, DUET, and other entrance exams are well-known. The average course fee is in the range of INR 50,000 and INR 300,000. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Mewar University, Institute of Management Studies, etc. are among the best universities.

Online/ Distance BJMC Course

BJMC Distance Education learning is a correspondence course and is generally taken by working professionals who are unable to enroll in the full-time BJMC Program. Distance BJMC courses accredited by the Distance Education Board (DEB)- UGC are valid and recognized for employment in the public and private sectors. The study material for distance learning is delivered via postal service, emails, pen drives, and online classes. Distance BJMC courses are uncommon in India because it is still considered a niche education segment. However, some institutes provide the course via distance learning. The course duration varies from one to three years, and admission is based on a merit list. In some cases, candidates must score 50% on the qualifying examination (in this case the 12th). The BJMC distance education course has no upper age limit. The average course fee ranges from INR 10,000 to INR 41,000.
