In order to pursue a B.Ed degree in Accountancy, the candidates need to fulfil the given eligibility criteria:
The candidate must have passed a graduate-level degree in Bachelors of Commerce (B. Com) or an equivalent degree from a recognized University.
The candidate must have studied Commerce as the main subject as the graduation level degree.
The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying degree with all the subjects put together.
The candidate must have acquired a minimum percentage of 50% in the Commerce subject alone.
The process of admission to B.Ed in Accountancy depends on the college. The candidates can apply for admission through either direct admission or through the entrance test conducted by the colleges. While the direct admission to the course is done on the basis of marks obtained by the student in the graduation level degree, fir some colleges, the students have to qualify the entrance exam conducted, followed by a personal interview. Most of the universities conduct the entrance exam in the month of June July for which the candidates have to apply online. After the application is completed, based on the eligibility, the students have to appear for the entrance test. If the students qualify the entrance test, he/she will have to appear for the final interview round. Based on the overall marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test and personal interview, the admission will be provided to the candidates.
The course fee for the B.Ed in Accountancy depends upon the type and ranking of the college. The private colleges will charge more fee as compared to government colleges.
