The candidates who wish to pursue a degree in B. Ed in Physical Science must fulfil certain eligibility criteria in order to get eligible for the course. Though the eligibility criteria for admission to B. Ed in Physical Science differs from college to college, there are certain minimum eligibility criteria which the candidates must fulfil for admission.

The eligibility criteria required for admission to B. Ed in Physical Science is given below:

  • The candidates must have passed graduation in a relevant stream or an equivalent degree from a recognised institute.

  • The candidate must have opted for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or any other stream in Science at the graduation level.

  • The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for the reserved candidates) in the qualifying examination. 

  • The candidates who are appearing for the final exam or waiting for the final result can also apply for admission to B. Ed in Physical Science course.

Admission Process

While some colleges offer admission to B. Ed in Physical Science program on the basis of merit obtained by the student in the qualifying exam, some of the colleges also conduct their own entrance exam for testing the eligibility of students for admission. Based on the merit obtained by the student in the qualifying exam or an entrance exam, the shortlisted candidates are called for the university level test in which their proficiency in terms of graduation level Science, Mathematics Concept, Aptitude and Reasoning are evaluated. Based on the performance of the student in the entrance exam, the qualified candidates are further called for the personal interview round conducted by the colleges. Based on the overall marks obtained by the student in the entrance exam and the interview round, the eligible candidates are offered admission to the program. 

B. Ed in Physical Science Course Fees

Haa, B.Ed degree Himachal Pradesh ke sabhi government and private colleges and universities mein manya hai. Aapki B.Ed degree ke final year of examination mein minimum 50% marks hone chahiye, kisi bhi stream se aur aapki degree recognised university se honi chahiye, tabhi aapki degree Himachal Pradesh mein manya hogi. Agar aapne apni B.Ed degree online ya distanced education mode mein complete ki hai, toh aapke minimum 45%-50% marks final year mein hone chahiye aur apka institution recognised hona chahiye. Himachal Pradesh ke saare colleges and universities mein English ya Hindi (core language subject) B.Ed degree ke liye compulsory hota hai.
