What’s new at Karnataka State Law University?
Karnataka State Law University admission 2023 has started and the last date to apply for admission is March 14, 2023. The commencement of classes for the odd semester will begin on March 15, 2023.
The Karnataka State Law University was founded in January 2009 by the Karnataka State Law University Act, 2009. Karnataka State Law University is Asia's largest affiliating law university, with 109 affiliated law colleges spread across the whole state of Karnataka. The university has a total strength of 26,000 students studying on KSLU campus. The university is also operating its own law school at the main campus in Hubballi.
Located in Navanagar, in Hubballi, the Karnataka State Law University campus is built across an area of 55 acres. The Karnataka State Law University facilities include art classrooms, an auditorium, a pariksha bhavan (examination block), a guest house, a boy's hostel, a girl's hostel, officer’s residences, a sports ground, etc.
KSLU offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in law, such as BA LLB, BBA LLB, BSc LLB, LLM, Ph.D., and diploma courses. Apart from academic programmes, KSLU also organises various extracurricular activities and events such as moot court competitions, seminars, workshops, and conferences, to provide students with practical exposure to the legal field and enhance their knowledge and skills. The university has also established various research centers and collaborations with other institutions to promote research in legal studies.
The Karnataka State Law University is accredited with 'A' Grade by NAAC and is recognised with UGC. KSLU has also been recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
