DU SOL Admission Process 2024

The application process for DU SOL is conducted in an online mode every year. For the 2024 session, the DU SOL admission 2024 last date is expected to be August 31, 2023. The step-by-step application process to apply for UG and PG courses is as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of DU SOL which is web.sol.du.ac.in. 

Step 2: Go to the ‘UG Courses’ or ‘PG Courses’ section as per the preference of the course. 

Step 3: Go to the ‘Apply Now’ section on this page. 

Step 4: Register as a fresh applicant by entering the details like email id, name, course, etc.

Step 5: Thereafter, an application form will open. 

Step 6: Fill out the form with all personal and academic details. 

Step 7: Attach the scanned copies of all documents with the DU SOL admission form 2024. Make sure that the size and format of the documents is as prescribed in the form. Failure of the same can lead to technical glitches. 

Step 8: After the successful completion of the form, pay the application fee and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 9: Take a printout of the same for future reference. 

The following documents must be ready for the DU SOL admission process:

  • Mark sheets and certificates of classes 10 and 12
  • UG mark sheet and certificate for admission to PG courses
  • Passport size photograph
  • Student’s signature
  • Reserved Category Certificate if a candidate belongs to OBC/SC/ST/PWD, etc.
  • Migration Certificate if candidate studied from a board other than Delhi.
  • Income certificate if applying for fee concession/fee assistance.

DU SOL Admission Process for Foreign Candidates

  • The foreign students residing in India and who meet the eligibility requirements are required to first apply to the Deputy Dean, Foreign Students Registry (FSR), Room No. 11 First Floor, Conference Center, University of Delhi, Delhi 110007. 
  • Without the permission of the Deputy Dean, Foreign Students Advisor, University of Delhi, no foreign student may be accepted to the School of Open Learning.
  • Nepalese and Bhutanese citizens do not need a visa to visit India for the DU SOL course admissions. As a result, students from these countries may be eligible to enrol in correspondence courses. Tibetan students who travel to India on a "Special Entry Permit (SEP)" for the sole purpose of study are unable to enrol in a correspondence course. 
  • They must continue their studies on a regular basis. Furthermore, any other international student with a "Student Visa" from any other country can only enrol in only regular/full-time academic courses and the DU SOL admission criteria for all foreign candidates is the same as for the domestic students.
