WBSU Placements 2024 - Average & Highest Package, Percentage

West Bengal State University (WBSU) offers campus placement opportunities to its students through its placement cell. WBSU placement cell is committed to providing full placement assistance to its students. The cell not only invites leading companies for campus placement but also trains students to make them industry-ready. The WBSU placement process is conducted effectively by the cell every year. It has collaborated with some of the leading institutions for the training of students mentioned in detail below. 

Employment-based Training: 

WBSU arranges for industrial training known as '80-hrs English Lab Training' free of cost to a total of 80 students in two groups. These trained students are then interviewed by private organisations and 50 students out of them have been offered the job.

Outreach Training:

• Open Office Training: 80 PG students and 508 local youths has been trained in collaboration with IIIM. 
• Computer Hardware Training: 52 PG students and 175 local youths have been trained in collaboration with IIIM. 

WBSU placement report 2022 is yet to be declared by the university. Though, here are some of the statistics regarding WBSU campus placements for reference. 

• About 30 Students have been placed through direct campus recruitment.
• About 50 students have been placed after giving training on a focused area.
• A total of 20 students have been placed through off-campus mode.
