Overall: It was a nice opportunity to pursue B.Tech. in Computer Science from GNIT Kolkata. The institute has a leading educational infrastructure, a qualified and experienced faculty, and several placement and internship options. I got admission through WBJEE and I scored good marks to get admission here. Students who do not score good marks in any of the entrance exams accepted in GNIT can wait till last if any seats are available. They can apply for direct admission in the last round of counselling.

Faculty: The teachers of the CSE department of GNIT Kolkata are very friendly and educated. They are alumni of top education institutions. They are kind and available at all times to assist us with our academic needs. The course curriculum is relevant to train students for industry. The majority of students pass the exams. However, teachers are helpful with the backlog of students as I was one of them.

LPU firmly believes in ensuring that financial constraints do not impede a student's pursuit of education. To achieve this, scholarships are offered for various courses at LPU. These scholarships are categorized as follows: - Scholarship based on previous qualifications, requiring a minimum of 70% in the previous or previous to previous qualification. For instance, for a Bachelor's degree, LPU considers the 12th or 10th marks, whichever is higher. - Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) performance-based scholarship. - National level test-based scholarships, including JEE mains, NATA, NEET, UCEED, CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, NMAT, GPAT, GATE, etc. - Scholarships based on sports, cultural or co-curricular activities performance. - Scholarships for board toppers. - Scholarships for orphan students or individuals with specific disabilities. - Scholarships for dependents of defense personnel and central armed police forces (CAPF). The applicable scholarship will be determined based on the highest category from the aforementioned options. The fees structure will vary depending on the scholarship awarded, as the scholarship amount will be deducted from the fee of each semester. The faculty members at LPU are highly experienced, with many of them coming from prestigious institutions such as IIM and other renowned B-Schools in India and abroad. They are exceptionally supportive and go above and beyond to assist students, even outside regular university hours. The curriculum includes entrepreneurship projects, which play a vital role in helping students establish themselves as successful entrepreneurs. Additionally, students have the opportunity to engage in community development projects that address social issues, fostering social sensitivity and a sense of responsibility. The university has also formed collaborations with companies like NSE, Safe Educate, ICICI Direct, HDFC, etc., providing students with opportunities to pursue live projects and professional certifications such as NCCMP and NCFM. I hope this helps. Thank you.
