The college has a Central library and various department libraries. The department libraries contain books relating to the respective subjects and are under the control of the Heads of Department. The central library contains a large stock of books related to subjects. Students can borrow two books at a time and shall return it within the prescribed duration of time. Spoiling and damaging books invoke penalty. A lost book shall be replaced or the fine remitted. Copies of each of the leading newspapers are subscribed in order to cater to the needs of both male and female students separately at the two library wings.
Students are advised to use the reading room when they do not have class. Periodicals and papers shall not be taken out of the reading room. Silence shall be maintained in the reading room. Active involvement of students in sports is an important component of the learning experience at AIIT. With the view to impart overall development of students; sports events like Inter department annual Cricket/Badminton/Table Tennis tournaments are organize 3 day. The first three positions in each competitive event receive prizes/trophies.
The institute believes that sporting skills are integral to life and teach students the basics of health and fitness, team play, healthy competitions and exhilarations of success. Some inter and intra college competitions organized to promote sporting spirits.Students at the time of admission or at the time of applying loan are given  loan letter or alike documents as  required by the concerned bank for loan purpose ,as and if deem appropriate.
For the convenience of students, the AIIT has set up a separate Loan Assistance Cell, to cater all the needs like loan letter, loan application form etc.
However, the students and their parents/guardian will be personally responsible for loan sanction and payment of loan and all kind of liabilities and consequences arising thereof. The AIIT will not be liable and responsible in this regard.
