Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET) is a deemed university under the section 3 of UGC act 1956 and located in East Coast Road, Kanathur, Chennai. AMET is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). AMET established in 1993. The Institute offers Engineering, Management, and Diploma programmes which is B.Tech, B.E, B.Sc, MBA, BBA, and diploma. AMET assisting the deserving student for scholarships which is given by various Government Departments.
