Academy of Technology Admission 2024: B.Tech admission is based on the WBJEE entrance examination. The WBJEE 2024 result have been released on wbjeeb.nic.in. on June 6, 2024. The result and scorecard can be downloaded by using the unique application number and password. WBJEE counselling process will tentatively begin in July 2024. The cutoff will be released shortly after the results for Academy of Technology admission. In all the B.Tech courses students will be admitted on the basis of merit position in the Joint Entrance Examination of the State(West Bengal) and All India Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). 10% of students will be admitted under the management quota as per directives of the State Government. 

Diploma Holders in Engineering/ Technology on the basis of merit position in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) are eligible for admission in the 3rd semester (2nd year) of B.Tech course to a maximum limit of 20% of the approved intake in each course.

Candidates seeking admission in the two-year M. Tech programmes are required to be Bachelor Degree holders in Engineering and Technology. Admission will be made on the basis of merit position of the candidate in the GATE/PGET for admission to Master of Technology Programme. Candidate should satisfy the stipulated standard of physical fitness with good mental and physical health.

Candidates seeking admission in the three-year M.C.A programme is required to be Bachelor Degree holders under (10 + 2 + 3) system with Computer or Mathematics as one of the subjects at Degree level. Admission will be made on the basis of merit position of the candidate in the Joint Entrance Examination for Admission to Master in Computer Application (JECA) conducted by the State Joint Entrance Board. Candidate should satisfy the stipulated standard of physical fitness with good mental and physical health.
