The vision of the Apparel Training and Design Centre is encapsulated in “Imparting Skills and Improving Lives”. Its mission is to train a skilled workforce for the rapidly growing export and domestic sectors of the Apparel Industry and upgrade the technical skills to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency in a global context.
ATDC faculty includes more than 400 experienced members having expertise in critical skill-intensive areas in the textile apparel value chain. ATDC has been awarded various prestigious awards for its excellence.
ATDC Gurgaon is a unique skill training organization offering Shop-Floor, Supervisory, and Managerial Level training courses, i.e. 300 hours to 3000 hours ranging from NSQF level three to level seven i.e. from short-term entry-level certificate courses to longer-duration Bachelor's Degree (B.Voc) programs.

Apparel Training and Design Centre also offers courses sponsored by National Corporations under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. It is an initiative to avail skill education for underprivileged candidates.

Apparel Training and Design Centre Gurgaon is currently accepting applications for its Diploma courses, Certificate courses and Online courses.
The admission in Diploma in Fashion Design Technology (FDT) and Diploma in Apparel Manufacturing Technology (AMT) for the session 2024 has started on December 27, 2021. The last date for applying to the diploma courses is March 15, 2023.
