ATDC, a part of AEPC (Apparel Export Promotion Council) is India's one of the largest vocational training centres with presently running 135 ATDC centres and camps across 22 states and 85 cities. Recipient of various prestigious awards like "Best vocational institute in 2014" and UK India skills forum award in 2011, it has placed over 2,17,000 candidates. The placement faculty consistently helps in the recognition of the appropriate candidate for the forum during the rozgarmelas and the campus interview drive. Along with these, personality development and communication skills are also improved by organizing various workshops before the placement phase. Apparel Training and Design Centre have a wide circle of established companies that are consistently providing recruitment every year with an average package of Rs 2.4 lakh.
The ATDC placements drive for the year 2022 began on March 5, 2022, for all the centre branches at Dwarka, Rohini, Dilshad garden, Okhla and Jayanagar. ATDC has signed MoU for better placement opportunities and to get the students to shape their confidence for the interview by organizing motivational workshops and awareness campaigns.
Apparel Training and Design Centre top recruiters include Unitex apparels, Bangalore, Surbhi collection, Bhilwara, Gaurav international, and Gurgaon are the regular participants every year and select desired candidates.
From 1993 to 2013, 1,57,731 trainees have been trained, out of which 75% either got placement in various reputed companies or are self-employed. The placement cell organises personality development workshops on a regular basis before the start of the placement drive to help and encourage candidates for the better overall upliftment of them. They are also trained in communication skills and boost their confidence. The cell organizes biannual rozgarmelas usually in the month of January and in July where about 300 companies participate and candidates get a chance for employment.
The centre aims to provide employment to each candidate through the placement drive. Many candidates are also self-employed.
ATDC has trained about 1,57,731 candidates from 1996 to 2013. About 70-75% of students have been able to grasp opportunities in companies.
About 30% got in domestic garments units, self-help (NGOs) etc. The bi-annual campus placement week allows more than 300 companies to participate and offer employment to the students. Maximum students with B.Voc degree courses have a great placement percentage.
ADTC Gurgaon Placement opportunities are good for all students of all courses and the process during the placement is convenient for both students as well as visiting companies. The National Placement cell of ATDC consists of experts in the field of training and placement, they conduct necessary training for students and prepare them for written exams and interviews.
The ADTC Placement cell invites many companies from the garment industry and conducts campus placement drives every year and provides information to the students from time to time. The placement cell records all the previous placements, the number of companies visited and packages offered to the students. Students also actively take part in the rozgarmelas that take place biannually where more than 300 companies take part. It is also under the government of India's initiative.

The National Placement Cell, which is a part of ATDC Gurgaon, regularly organize workshop regarding placements that help students with filling the application forms, improves presentation skills, and train them to face real job interviews. It also conducts Rozgar Melas/ Campus placements weeks, a bi-annual program in which more than 63 Melas take place and around 300 companies take part and offer employment to the students.
