VNIT Nagpur Campus
VNIT Nagpur campus is near Ambazari Lake and is in close proximity to the railway station and the airport. The campus organizes a number of annual fests or activities wherein participants from different colleges take part. The library at VNIT is 4 decades old and has an independent three-storied building with a vast collection of books and journals. The library and information resources centre at the VNIT campus is automated, and the institute has very good residential facilities to cater to the needs of over a thousand students. VNIT campus has seven boys’ and four girls’ hostels.
Each hostel is well-equipped with a telephone, sports items, water cooler, water heater, and well-equipped mess facilities. All the hostels at the VNIT campus have an independent mess where vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are provided. At the VNIT campus, there is the provision of sports facilities and the institute organizes various tournaments so that students get some exposure. There are cricket tournaments, specialized coaching facilities as well which are offered to the students.
The VNIT campus has all necessary facilities to take care of all students’ requirements and offers a vibrant and good environment which helps students learn and at the same time, enjoy while learning by taking part in the various extracurricular and sports activities apart from focusing on the academics. Also at the VNIT campus, there is an entrepreneurship E-Cell which takes care of mentoring the new startups. It has worked with more than 5,000 startups since its inception having an impact on over 10,000 students and would-be entrepreneurs. It has a range of learning-oriented programs which play an important role in the development of entrepreneurial skills and give an opportunity to the deserving candidates.
VNIT Nagpur Hostel & Fees Structure
V.N.I.T. has excellent residential facilities to cater the need of more than a thousand students. There are seven Boys Hostels and two Girls Hostels. Each hostel is having a telephone, T.V., Sports Items, water coolers, water heaters and well equipped mess facilities. It is mandatory for hostel inmates to join the mess in his / her hostel, managed by committee of students' representatives. All hostels are having independent mess where vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are available. All residents have to bear the wages of the mess cooks, servants, helpers and cleaners. Ministerial staff is provided by the Institute.
The Chief Warden looks after the management of the hostels along with a team of seven wardens and Hostel Manager.
Students Activities & Clubs
Entrepreneurship is the process of starting a business, typically a startup company offering an innovative product, process or service. Anentrepreneur perceives an opportunity and often exhibits biases in taking the decision to exploit the opportunity.
E-Cell VNIT is a non-profit organization run by the students of VNIT, Nagpur that aims at manifesting the entrepreneurial spirit of young students, and is one of the largest and most active entrepreneurship clubs of India. It was founded by some enthusiastic students of the 2004-2008 batch. The club has produced the then youngest CEO of India, Mr. Ashwin Baliwada (who is also one of the founding members of the Club).
Having round the year events such as STARTUP WEEKEND powered by GOOGLE for Entrepreneurs, TATA FIRST DOT workshop, JUGAAD, E-Cell aims at an all round development of all its members such that they are fully prepared for all their future endeavors. It also supports and incubates many startups.
The club provides a platform to students who want to setup their own business and opportunities to budding entrepreneurs to connect to successful businessmen and see their ideas turn into reality.
It encourages the students to develop entrepreneurial skills. The management events shall include conversion of research projects to commercial products, public speaking, crisis handling, mock sensex, ad-making, virtual company creation,providing economic solutions to technical and social problems conference and panel discussions, industry-student interface via projects and internships.
Every year, Entrepreneurship Cell of VNIT organises Consortium, the Annual Entrepreneurship Summit. It is a confluence of activities, events, competitions, conferences and workshops conducted to inculcate a startup-minded outlook among technical students. It is one of the biggest summits of its kind. It aims at fostering the importance of leadership and decision making, encouraging entrepreneurship and introducing young technocrats to various management concepts practiced in the corporate world and to provide a platform for development of managerial acumen, entrepreneurial spirit and to bring ideas into reality.
Consortium is one of the very few conventions in India to be organized by engineering undergraduates.Consortium attracts thousands of participants in various contests. Events include corporate contests, traditional business contests, crowd magnet events, a business plan competition and many online events. These are judged by academicians and industrialists.
It has various popular events in it such as Ascent(B-Plan), Swades, Bizmantra, EPL manager, Kaizen etc with participation from enthusiastic students all over the nation.

Infrastructure: VNIT NAGPUR, we have so many trees being planted all over the campus, campus is pollution free. A good place to study and stay. Cleanliness is found at every corner of our campus. We have huge departments, library, sports ground. We have court for lawn tennis, basketball, badminton, volleyball, table tennis. Cricket, hand ball and football ground. Projectors and green board are there in every classroom. Hostels are 12 in number. Vnit is best place for pursuing engineering. It has great connectivity as it is 6 kms from railway station and airports. We have a great campus and city life. We have huge auditorium for different events being held throughout the year.
Hostel: Total hostels- 12 For Boys- 10 For Girls- 2 First years are given double sharing rooms and from second year we get to choose between double or single occupancy. Hostel areas of girls and boys have mess, gym, canteen and each hostel have separate reading rooms, and grounds to play small sports like volleyball and badminton. Mess food is currently very delicious but overall it was average in taste. Rooms are having tubelight, fan, table, chair, balcony, and Lan connection for internet. Washrooms are below average otherwise overall hostels are nice.
ReportInfrastructure: If I talk about infrastruc7ture of our institute I can say that buildings were creatively made.It was restricted for outsiders to enter into the institute and yes playing area and libraries and cultural activities area over there
Hostel: Best part of hostel is that Clealiness This is maintained by staff.Staff is really good food.Served here was of nice quality.It was restricted to outsiders to enter into the hostel area

Hostel: if I talk about hostel facility of this institute I can say that food served here is of good quality, washroom were cleaned every day and Yes best part is it is restricted for outsiders to enter into the Hostel area.
ReportInfrastructure: Yes the college has an beautiful infrastructure,it has beautiful classroom made and also a library where students can spend there time while reading the books
Hostel: Yes the hostel is also giving good facilities where the students get the 2 times meal in a day and also the morning breakfast,hostel has provided a beds of sleeping and particular study table for students
ReportInfrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. Here are almost 8 hostels are there and all hostels are built well. Proper maintenance of the hostels and department buildings is there
Hostel: Hostels are quite big and here we are having 10 hostels in which we have 2 hostels for girls and the mess provided in this hostels is quite good sometimes you can feel little low in mess food quality.
ReportInfrastructure: Infrastructure is good I can make sure that you don't feel bad after coming here because the facilities you are getting are top notch. Everything is spacious here.
Hostel: Here hostel are really great because you will get very big room only for 2 students in 1st year and in 2nd year it is single seater. Hostels are way better than other IIT and NIT hostel
ReportInfrastructure: Nice and comparatively good than the other NITs. But the water facility is not good in classroom complex. We have big Class room complex(6 floors) for 1st years mainly. We have 1300 member capacity of auditorium to conduct any events,Health centre to consult doctor,huge sports complex to play many indoor as well as outdoor games etc.
Hostel: There are 10 blocks of hostels for boys.Hostel Rooms have sufficient place .Double seater are provided for 1st years and single seater will be given from 2nd year.There will be mess attached to the hostels. Our first years hostels will be controlled by prefects and wardens sirs . Food is not so good but ok better than sri chaitanya colleges. Our mess follows weakly time table. With so many varieties With normal taste not spicy.Separate hostels for boys and girls.
ReportInfrastructure: All the labs and classrooms here are very well maintained.The most attractive thing here is the entrance with beautiful statue and a waterfall shower.
Hostel: Hostel rooms are like any other hostel,a small rooms shared by two people,with one table,cupboard and bed for each. Laptops are allowed here but electric kettle is not.
ReportInfrastructure: The 215-acre campus? It's pretty sweet, all green and stuff. Central library? Great for escaping the hostel life (and maybe even studying, sometimes). Sports complex? Decent enough to sweat it out. Hostels? Well, they're...hostels. Food in the mess? Let's just say Maggi becomes your BFF. But hey, there's amazing food outside campus to keep your tastebuds happy.
Hostel: Basic but lively, VNIT hostels offer shared rooms, decent canteens, and the legendary "hostel life" experience. Expect occasional power cuts and water woes, but the strong sense of community makes up for it
