VNIT Nagpur BTech admission process with start soon. The NTA has released JEE Main session 2 result for BTech admission. Now, candidates need to register for JoSAA counselling. For VNIT Nagur admission in BTech courses, JoSAA registration will start in June.

• Class 12th marks:

Candidates seeking admission into any bachelor’s program at VNIT Nagpur should have a minimum 50% aggregate in their Class 12 standard exams. The institute from which they clear their 12th standard should be a recognized one along with proper certificates.

• Other methods:

There are no lateral entry available for any of the courses at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. The candidate needs to start from the first year of all the courses.

VNIT Nagpur has an online admission portal wherein candidates can download the form and fill it out accordingly. If candidates face any challenges while filling up the form, they can reach out to the admission cell, whose details will be shared on the institute's official website.

• Students can either head to the official website of this institute and find the application form on the admissions panel or visit the university's campus and avail of the application kit.

One of the main criteria for getting admission at NIT Nagpur is that the candidate should have a minimum aggregate of 50% in their Class 12 boards. Apart from this, for certain courses, the candidate must attempt an entrance exam the institute accepts.

• B.Tech- Candidates who want to secure admission in B.Tech courses should have completed their Class 12 of schooling with at least 50% aggregate. JEE Mains entrance exam is required for this course. B.Tech course is for a period of 4 years.
• B.Arch - Candidates who want to secure admission in the B.Tech course should have completed their Class 12 of schooling with at least 50% aggregate. JEE Mains or NATA is required for this course. 

• M.Tech - Candidates who want to secure admission in the M.Tech course should have completed their bachelor`s degree (BE / B.Tech) with at least 50% aggregate. GATECCMT entrance exam is required for this course.
• MSc - Candidates who want to secure admission in the M. Sc course should have completed their bachelor`s degree (BSc) with at least 50% aggregate. No entrance exam is required for this course.

• PhD - Candidates who want to secure admission in PhD course should have completed their master`s degree (BSc) with at least 50% aggregate. The GATE entrance exam is required for this course. 

Students outside India can seek international admissions at VNIT Nagpur. The students must send all the relevant documents listed on the official website. The candidate should secure an Indian Student VISA if they are shortlisted, and the institute will help with all the required documents for the same. If the candidate is selected, they need to arrive at the campus 2 days before starting the course as there might be some paperwork that needs to be done in person.
