Overall: I love the environment. I like professor of our branch their are supportive and understanding. If you are not much punctual than you have to be here, every department gate closed at 9:25 am. The bad thing of the college is 75% attendance, if you have 74.99% attendance than also their will not allow you to sit in examination and you have to pay summer term fee that depends on subject fee.
Placement: 100+ company visited and more than 90% students get placed here. University organises CAB meeting every years and call CEO of big and fanous companies like Tata group, Adani's and so on.
Infrastructure: If we talk about infrastructure it is amazing. According to me it's one of the best universities in infrastructure. Central library is amazing. Everyone gonna love it
Faculty: Here faculty are supportive and understanding. They will listen you and also help you. If you are interested in research they will help you in that also.
Hostel: Most of hostel here are 4 seater. They have more than 20 hostel for girls and boys both. Boys get little more facilities. They have tuck shop and food court inside the hostel with stay open till 12 AM and girls hostel timming are till 10:15 PM. If we talk about food it is better than other hostels. Timming of gate closing of girls is 8:00 PM and boys timming is 11:00 PM.
Overall: Indulge in a culinary journey like no other with our hostel mess facilities offering delectable and nourishing meals. Savor a diverse array of cuisines crafted to tantalize your taste buds while providing essential nutrition for academic excellence. With a focus on quality and variety, our hostel dining experience promises to delight and satisfy every palate.
Overall: If you really want to live your college life you are searching for the right . No such restrictions . Great environment grey faculty if you really want to get good placement you want to work very hard develop additional skills side by siee
Placement: Companies do come in department like requil and many other but but it would be better to have additional skills than others to have edge over them you will get decent package as a fresher and companies start coming in last semester
Infrastructure: Campus life is very good daily they are evnts , fest . Teachers are friendly but yes there is attendance issue you have to maintain 75% attendance otherwise you would be detained
Faculty: One of the major advantages students have teachers are very helpful, understanding and hard working they will try their best to guide you in every possible way at the tome of placement they help you to get a nice package help you in preparing for interviews
Hostel: If uou want to study only then it is fine for you if you want to enjoy also then go for pg s and all rather than hostels Rules are very strict very much strictness
Placement: Placements are the main thing for every college .. Students used to judge college after seeing there placement drives .. and there placement ratings .. CU has very good placement ratio .. companies come over here are like Microsoft, delotie,HDFC ,tech Mahindra and many more ..
Infrastructure: Chandigarh University which was considered as a India's no 1 private university so it's infrastructure will also be so great .. Here u will find a good environment and comfortable smart classes with ac classes ..
Faculty: In college as well as in hostel there are great and very cooperative staff in hostel warderns are so corporative but strict though
Hostel: Chandigarh University consist 4 hostel for girls and 3 hostel for boys which are present in the campus .. Hostel facilities are so great , food was also amazing , hostel rooms were luxurious to live and many facilities were there like Water coolers , Airconditioner, lift , generators , wifi connection.. There are private study rooms for students and some fix timings for the gate close which is mandatory.. for maintaining the rules and regulations
Overall: In 2022, I graduated from Chandigarh University with an BA in Psychology. I enrolled during the covid time, so we all spent our 3 sems in online mode only. Then, later on finally we got the chance to explore the campus experience in our sem 4. And, honestly it gave me the best theoretical and practical knowledge. I got admitted to the university based on my CUCET scores. The university offers tuition fee concessions as per their CUCET scores.
Placement: Chandigarh University has a very good placement record. Almost every student is placed at CU, however the package differs depending on the student's skills and various companies. When I was in my final semester, I too got placed in an Ed-tech firm with a very generous package as a fresher. The maximum CTC in Chandigarh University has gone past 1 Crore, while in CSE last year it was approximately 52 lakhs. TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, and IBM, among others, are major Chandigarh University recruiters. An average student's annual salary is roughly 5 lakhs.
Infrastructure: The campus is quite attractive and large enough, and they prioritise making it green (even more than employing qualified teachers). There are 12-15 buildings in all, each with 7 floors, and the number is still expanding. The whole university is wi-fi-enabled and all the classrooms are equipped with projectors and other necessary facilities. Chandigarh University campus is divided as per the academic blocks and every academic block has a library. The CU hostels are also well-equipped with the basic facilities like sports room, Wi-Fi in every room, and medical services. It also offers delicious meals, with a different menu available each day.
Faculty: Professors and teachers are quite helpful and guide us at various stages. They are experts in their respective fields. While writing the research papers, they have helped a lot and given insight about the research topic, collecting authentic data, using tools to generate reports and many other things as well.
Hostel: There are only 3 and 4 seater Chandigarh University hostel rooms available for girls and boys both. It was good for me but there should be facilities available for 1, 2 and 5 seater rooms for girls as well. But it was only for boys. I paid around Rs 13, 2600 annually for 3 seater non AC room. You can have AC rooms but that costs extra.
