Overall: Infrastructure of the college is good and attractive and have good faculty members , having good qualification and have experience. They always support the students in studies.
Overall: ENVIRONMENT of this collage is really good ,,,,, i meet soo many good people under this collage,,,eco- friendly environment,,,i lived best part of my life in there university
Overall: College is best for bca and very less fees and u can admission easily their is no entrance exam you can direct admission in this college very good college for bca
Placement: Placement is so good I have complete my graduation in this college my package 8lakh per annum placement is so good and many company come to hire the student highest package 25lakh in my batch
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and environment is so good many more green plant in this college there is 2garden in college best canteen infrastructure clean and beautiful class infrastructure also good
Faculty: Professor also very good and friendly you can asked any thing they will help you and professor very good skill in bca and IT fields they will help you in search the job
Hostel: Hostel is good both girls and boys mess also available for all student security guard available 24hour warden very friendly hostel bed also Good to staying outsider not allowed in hostel
Overall: The college is located at kharar ludhiana highway. It is private University and they take too much students, the crowd is unnecessary. You get facilities and opportunities but with such unhealthy competition your confidence may get low. So, placements are ok. No student placed this year due to recession and training and placement cell is also ok. Transport facility are good. I never took hostel so I can't tell about it but yes you have good facilities in hostel too. Fees increases 5k every year for this course. It is expensive and yes sometimes I feel irritated. Content quality is poor and they keep PhD scholars as professors who don't even know about computer science. They keep them to save their salary cost. It's not good place if you're genuinely worried about your future. Go for government college any time.
Placement: About 80 companies came to my college and about 10 to 20 only completed the actual process and their result is still pending. No proper placement support not post placement support. Only they want is money.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very poor according to the fee they charge. Broken ugly desks, no marble on floor, no proper projectors, no proper white boards. Means it will look like a hospital more than a college due to the white colour everywhere I see in my college. It's not good. Computer labs and all the things, I feel are just for name sake. They don't genuinely invest for students.
Faculty: The teachers are not highly qualified professionals but they are PhD scholars who want to just work to earn. They have 0 knowledge about subject and have 0 interest in teaching. They just want salary and that's it.
Hostel: I never stayed there so I cannot tell about hostel. The hostel food is good, you may get quality sometimes. The mess is not healthy and hygienic, we saw a mouse coming out from the food.
Overall: First thing Chandigarh University is not in Chandigarh it located 20 far from Chandigarh, when I was getting admission in 2022 then they said our class will be in lush green main campus and the moment classes was get to start they changed campus. They purchased a college building call GGS Sachadeva college. The facilities provided there is not comparable to that of main campus. Most of the teachers are not well trained. In my third semester I had Blockchain subject, and the teacher assigned to us to teach Blockchain said he don't know anything about Blockchain and started to teach IOT instead which is irrelevant to us. In first semester DSA teacher didn't teach us anything and said we are master's student we can study ourselves. If we have to study ourselves then why we pay fees in first place. And in third semester we have Industrial Training Subject in which we have to visit IT industries by college which we never visited and got grade B without doing anything. And also we require to have 75% attendance to appear in exams even if we have 0.01 percent less they don't let us give exam.
Placement: If you want to appear in placement you'll have to pay extra 9000 rupees otherwise there will no placement for you. Less than 1 company in week visit for MCA Student. I don't know about other branches. Only 10 to 12 managed to crack placement from 1500 students which not even 2% and they claim they have highest placement rate in north India which is upto 75-80%. Its all lies.
Infrastructure: In main campus no student is allowed to use Lift it's reserved only for teachers, if someone have class at 8th floor they have to climb through stairs and in MCA campus no lift is provided we have to use stairs. Nobody is allowed to have use elevator in emergency condition too. They only charging heavy fees and provide nothing.
Faculty: Some faculty are good some are worst. In my third semester I have Blockchain as a subject but teacher assigned to us to teach Blockchain said he don't know anything about Blockchain started us teaching IOT instead which is irrelevant for us.
Hostel: Never been in hostel but my friend was in hostel and he says that The rooms are cojusted he have no AC room and they charge 100000 rupees for 6 months. What a joke. And one time students even found dead mouse in mess food
