Overall: I'm an electronics and communication engineering student in this college. And this is the hardest branch among all branches of engineering but if you have interests in this field you will enjoy this course. I'm a lateral student and in diploma also I have electronics and communication engineering. You have a plenty of career opportunities after btech in electrical engineering. In my college the department is very good. Faculties are experienced and they teach us the subjects very well. Exams are semester based in one year 2 semester. And there are 4 internals every semester. Class Size: 60 Course Fees: INR 18000 per year Internships Opportunities Tata, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Deloitte, Coding Ninja gives us the opportunity to do internship with them. Internship opportunities are available with our college, but as a fresher I don't know about the stipend amount. Most of the work is IT based. For non IT students there are less chance of internship available from college you have to find your own. As the college is new and I'm a 2nd year lateral student i have not much idea about placements. But the placement is average. TP cell is very much active to improve campus placement. But the academic system is very good so students can get job easily even without campus placement. I came to know from one of my senior that 7lakhs per annum is the highest package form the college. I planned to give GATE exam after getting my degree. The fees for all courses are very less as compared. For electrical, mechanical and civil engineering department the course fee for every semester is 3000 rupees and for electronics and computer science engineering the fee is 6000/- rupees per semester. At the time of admission you have to pay total 8000/- rupees including one semester fee. Scholarships are available for all the students like SVMCM which gives us 60000/- rupees as scholarship per year. Hostel fee is also less, 11000/- rupees per semester. As the college is new campus placement is not so good but average. Campus Life There are so much annual and technical festival held in our college like freshers welcome, annual cultural fest, tech fest, teachers day and many more. Generally annual fest held in April and freshers welcome in February. Library has sufficient books for every department and it is well maintained. Classrooms are well lighted, sufficient fans and ac's (not all classroom) and Every room has projectors. Badminton , cricket, football, basketball all the playing ground are available. There are also music, dance, photography, recitation, debate, tech , drama etc clubs in our college which gives more exposure to students. You have to clear WBJEE/JELET exam to get admission in this college. As it is a government college it needs a good rank. For CSE and EE department you have to score 600-800 rank in jelet and in wbjee 3000-4000 rank is sufficient to get admission. You can go through our college website for more details. Exams held in semester system,2 semester per year, and the college is affiliated under MAKAUT university which has a high standard. Question quality is moderate. Admission process is smooth and as the college is located in North Bengal I would suggest to complete the admission process in one day as it is located in remote area so for many new comers it will be problematic. The faculty members are so much humble and teach all the things with very great approach. There are sufficient faculty for every department. The faculty to student ratio is 1:8 per department as there are 60 students for each branch for every year. They provide knowledge as well as mentorship to students. Students can interact with them whenever they want, and they are very much helpful and humble to students.

Placement: The placement is average TP cell is very much active to improve campus placement but the academic system is very good so students get job easily even without campus placement I came to know from one of my senior that 7 lakhs per anum is the highest package from the college I plan to give GATE exam after getting my degree

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college. Classrooms are big and spacious, many benches are available, projectors, blackboard etc. Teachers are very helpful and supportive. They are very knowledgeable Labs are also big and spacious all computers working correctly.

Faculty: The faculty members are so much humble and teach all the things with very great approach. There are sufficient faculty for every department. The faculty to student ratio is 1:8 per department as there are 60 students for each branch for every year. They provide knowledge as well as mentorship to students. Students can interact with them whenever they want, and they are very much helpful and humble to students. Overall all the facilities are good.

Hostel: Only final year students are eligible for the hostel facility. Hostel is available at affordable cost , 10900 amount is required per semester to avail the hostel facility . Hostel stuff are very friendly there is no strict rules and regulations.hostel food is also good quality

Overall: This college is not so old, it was just started its journey in 2016. As for that it has pretty good campus with good infrastructure. It I good as a government college.

Placement: Our college placement is not good enough. It needs to be improved. As of recession nobody is getting their dream job and most of us are even unemployment till 8th sem

Infrastructure: There is enough classrooms labs and playground for students. Computer labs are also pretty good. Mechanical workshops are also huge. There is a gym room in the campus but it's not functional.

Faculty: There is lack of faculty to student ratio. Faculty needed to be increased. There is some management subjects which is not even gets teachers. Some of them teach you really great.

Hostel: Hostel I the best place you are going to have here. Hostel staffs, Hostel food everything is so good that you don't usually expect. Each room has tbles, beds, fans, chairs.

Overall: This is a government engineering college situated in a rural side of Coochbehar district. This college mainly offers 5 courses- Cse, Ece ,Civil, mechanical and electrical.

Placement: There's 90% placement in CSE and ECE. Companies like TCS,Infosys, cognizant,Capgemini, Accenture,Byjus. And core companies like Adani and L&T visit our campus.

Infrastructure: We have more than 50 labs in our college, and for every purpose. Our library has plenty of books for each year. You don't need buy books because you can easily borrow it from library. Our college has a wifi campus and the speed is pretty decent.

Faculty: We have excellent teachers, however you also have dedicate some time from your end. The teachers have excellent teaching methods. For example,in the very first day our chemistry teacher taught us Schrödinger's wave mechanical model from scratch. They are very supportive and they clear our doubts after class.

Hostel: Hostel is not available for first, second and third year, it is still under construction. However there's plenty of PG and mess in vicinity of college campus. The hostel fee is 5500 per semester excluding fooding. The most beautiful thing about this college is that it's situated just beside river Torsha which offers a scenic beauty to the college campus. And if you love sports, there's a huge playground in front of the hostel and we have an active group who participates in sporting event.
