Overall: I would recommend Dit University for the BTech course owing to decent infrastructure, good faculty and growing placements. Faculty and peer group makes a qualitative difference on campus. Facilities and activities on campus can be improved. Job/higher study prospects are average.
Placement: A decent number of companies visit for placements and internships. Core engineering and IT roles are easier to get through campus. Packages are average. Career guidance needs to be more proactive. More preparation for aptitude tests needed.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is quite good with spacious classrooms equipped with projectors. The labs are decently equipped. The campus has a gym, cafeteria and events center. Cleanliness could be improved and campus maintenance is average.
Faculty: Most professors are highly knowledgeable and experienced. They are accessible outside class for doubts. Teaching quality varies - some faculty do an excellent job explaining concepts while others simply dictate notes. Overall, faculty mentoring is good.
Hostel: Hostel rooms are spacious enough for 2-3 students with basic furnishings. Common areas need more upkeep. Food quality is okayish. Hostel rules are quite strict. Location is very close to the academic blocks.
