Dronacharya College of Engineering has a beautiful campus with pollution free surroundings and the campus area is spread over 10.4 acres in Gurugram. DCE Gurugram, infrastructure is well-established which provides an ideal academic environment for students with a dazzling building. On the other hand, the institute offers various facilities to students such as fully air-conditioned well-furnished auditorium fitted with LCD projector and audio-video facilities. The seating capacity of the auditorium is around 450 where presentations, group discussion, and other programs are organized. The computer labs are well set up with upgraded computer systems and all the computers are connected with the internet. The classrooms are well-furnished and have an air-conditioned facility with digital cameras. In addition, the institute also offers accommodation facilities for both boys and girls where all the rooms are well-furnished with the availability of comfortable environment, 24 hr power back-up, and other essentials.

The institute takes care of their student’s health and mental fitness by providing a large playground facility. Institute encourages them to take part in sports activities for the development of leadership skills and the improvement of physical fitness. DCE library has a huge stock of books which consist of a large collection of reference books, textbooks, semester books, journals, e-journals, e-books, magazines, and newspapers, etc and also provides an ideal environment for students to develop their knowledge.

Student at DCE Gurugram can engage themselves in multiple student clubs and chapters which promote R&D, conferences and consulting assignments. Most of these chapters are set up in collaboration with leading corporates and global associations such as IEEE, CSI, etc.  Overall, the campus life of this institute is outstanding with the availability of abundant facilities for the students.

It is for both boys’ and girls’ are among the essential requirements for students hailing from different parts across the country, since the Entrance Test for admission to engineering courses is of All India Level (AIEEE.) The College has a tastefully constructed Boys’ Hostel in the campus having one, two and three seaters. Hygienically prepared nutritious food, recreation room equipped with T.V., facility of indoor games and internet, exemplary discipline with desired freedom make the hostel a home away from home. The Girls’ Hostel at Sector-5, Gurgaon emulates the ideal academic environment where rules are abided by in their true spirit. We appreciate parents’ anxiety regarding a safe and secure environment for their wards. The wardens in both the hostels act as guardians for the hostelers. They are under the direct control of the registrar, a great disciplinarian. Ragging is given a big ‘No’ both at our campus and in our hostels

Photography Club at Dronacharya College of Engineering is a very enthusiastic & active club for students desiring to capture every moment of life with beauty. It's a group of students who share a common passion for photography and meet regularly to showcase and discuss new ideas and thoughts.

Dronacharya College of Engineering, in its series of innovative ideas to utilize the versatile and hidden talents of the students, offers various activity clubs. One among them is Natraj Club. This club aims to help talented students harness their dedication to become communicative personalities, imbibed with passion and understanding to reach within themselves. Natraj Club can boost of having many musical instruments on which students-members of the Club can horn their skills. We expect our students to have an all-round development and learn to work efficiently as a team, be deft in expressing their knowledge through command over voice, body language and expression. It is an attempt to make the students work to perfect their body language as a communicative instrument. The club members will be ready to perform in different college functions such as welcome of fresher function, farewell function, Tech- Fest etc. We will be organizing mime, street plays etc. to raise awareness regarding different causes such as environmental issues, social issues like ragging corruption, national Integration etc.

This club provides students with soul-searching experiences making them realize their inner being and its capabilities. This way, they shall be able to develop a positive, confident and expressive body language and attitude, so vital for success in today’s cutting-edge competitive world. The Club invites names from new student members every year. The Club also has a Student Executive Council, for which, every year are nominated Students who Co-ordinate the various Club activities. The Club has organised cultural events from time to time in different Cultural Fests conducted in the College campus. The members of the Natraj Club enthralled the audience in their band performances held on the occasions of Convocation, Farewell Function and Fresher’s Welcome Function on 7 May’11, 30 April’11, 02 Sept.’11 respectively. In Farewell Function 2012 too the students of the Musical-Band gave a mind-blowing performance which was highly appreciated by the audience.

Innovation is the outcome of creativity process. In other terms, innovation is the process of developing creative idea so that it can be put to practical use.

Blocks which prohibit the creative out flow for Innovation:

Fears, perfectionism, Jealousy, anxiety, negative self-concept, uncertainty, lack of assertiveness and persistency are some of the blocks that prohibit free flow of creative process of innovation.

Techniques for overcoming the blocks and facilitating innovation:

Brain storming, reverse brain storming, visualization, positive imagination, Neurolinguistic programming, Lateral thinking, divergent thinking, Association with positive and creative person etc. are few technique which help to overcome the mental, physical, social and environmental blocks which create obstacles for creativity and thus innovations.

Design of Innovation – Role of subconscious mind:

It involves divergent thinking, creativity, brainstorming, search for alternatives etc. The subconscious mind plays a very important role in design of innovation. It has got 90% of Human mental faculty. It plays a vital role in shaping the individuals personality. The aim of Innovation clubs is to ignite young minds students who are having a powerful resource. This resource is mightier than any resource on the earth, in the sky and under the sea.

College created the ideal health club environment to help student lead a healthier, fitter lifestyle. The primary objective of  Health Club is to create awareness among the students about the value of health as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Eating right, exercising, and sleeping well play an equal role in the prevention of infections and diseases. However, a good sense of self, a loving support network, and the potential for continued personal growth is also important to College overall wellbeing.

Being in good health can increase a person's self-esteem, which will result in a person feeling good and being happy. Also, living a healthy lifestyle can reduce the chances of acquiring certain diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes. Maintaining good health requires dedication, time and commitment. Maintaining good health means making positive choices that affects overall health status.

ROBOTICS club, started in 2009 is one of the most active clubs of the college. The term ‘robot’ was derived from the English translation of fantasy play written in Czechoslovakia around 1921. The term ‘Robotics’ is derived from ‘Robota’ which means slave labour. A perfect combination of engineering skills, a robot, was once considered a miracle of modern technology.

The club provides a strong platform for the engineering students to practically implement their innovative ideas in building the robots for different applications. The Club offers indispensible guidance, workshops and tutorials along with tools, equipments, components and workspace.

The aim of this programme is to gather knowledge in the field and utilise the expertise developed to actually fabricate new models utilising diverse disciplines as machine design, control theory, microcontroller, artificial intelligence and mechanical gadgets.

The club is open to anyone and provides opportunities to get, try new adventure activities and generally have a fantastic outdoor time.
