Indian Institute of Legal Studies LLB Admission

 A student shall be eligible for admission into semester I of the B.A., LL.B. 5 year Integrated Course in Law if he / she has passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination held by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other examination which is recognized by the University as equivalent thereto provided that : 1. Such student must have obtained minimum 45 % marks in the aggregate in the qualifying examination; person belonging to scheduled cast, scheduled tribes, other Backward classes (OBC) shall be eligible to apply if they secure at least 40 % marks in the qualifying examination. 2. Such student has not passed any other examination higher than the 10+2 examination mentioned above prior to seeking admission into the course.The age of the applicant shall not be above 20 years in case of candidates belonging to the general category and shall not be above 22 years in case of applicants belonging to scheduled casts, scheduled tribes, other backward classes (OBC) category as on 1st July of the same academic year in which he or she may be seeking admission.

There is no upper age limit to apply for admission to LLB at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies. You can pursue it at any age as long as you meet the educational qualifications.  According to the course eligibility criteria, you need to have completed your 10+2 (or equivalent) in any stream with a minimum of 45% aggregate. Since your percentage in 12th is 62%, you are clearly eligible for admission. You can apply for admission in online or offline mode.

Yes, the fees for BBA LLB Hons at Indian Institute of Legal Studies for all categories including the SC category of West Bengal domicile is the same. The annual course fee is Rs 3,20,000 for all categories. The online admissions are open for BA LLB and you can apply for admission in online mode by visiting the official website at iilsindia.com. The Law Department at LPU is one of the first departments that came up when LPU was taking its shape. According to the NIRF ranking, the Law School is ranked 24th. Law students are prepared to spot legal issues from a set of hypothetical facts and brainstorm various legal consequences, to be perfect legal professionals. The courses are approved by the Bar Council of India. The Career guidance magazine Higher Education Review has recognized Law School at Lovely Professional University among the top-ten most promising institutions of India for its capability of producing next-gen legal professionals. The eligibility criteria for the course is 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
