Students also have to qualify for JEE mains (Joint Entrance Exams) and Uttarakhand State Online Counselling to be eligible for admission into engineering courses at IoT. Those taking admission for Lateral Entry into engineering courses have to appear for Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam (UKSEE). This exam is conducted in May or June.

Offline application:

After completing the filling up of the admission form, one has to pay a nominal amount of the application fee.
