Kakinada Institute of Technology and Science was established in the year 2008 and has emerged as one of the fastest-growing institutions of higher learning in India. It is a private college which is situated in Peddapuram, Andhra Pradesh. The college has been affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University Kakinada. It has been recognised by UGC and has been approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It has been accredited by NAAC with a “B+” grade. The institute trains the students in order to safeguard consumers, advance local and international agriculture, and support farmers through professional workforce development, education, technology and more.
The KITS Divili courses are offered to interested candidates at the diploma, undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. There are a total of 14 courses offered to students in the stream of engineering, technology and management. All the courses at the college are offered in offline, regular mode to the students. The Kakinada Institute of Technology and Science admission to all the courses is provided on the basis of the candidate's performance in the respective entrance exam and the last qualifying exam. AP EAPCET (for B.Tech courses), AP PGECET (for M.Tech courses) and AP POLYCET (for diploma courses) are some of the entrance exams that are accepted by the college for admission.
The KITS Divili campus is spread over an area of 10.13 acres and it provides students with a variety of amenities, including a gymnasium, boys' and girls' hostels, laboratories, a sports complex, transportation services, banking options, a full-fledged library, a canteen and others.
