Faculty: When it comes to determining the best engineering faculty, there are several factors to consider, including expertise, research opportunities, teaching methods, and student support. Here are a few points to consider when evaluating an engineering faculty: 1. Expertise and Experience: Look for faculty members with strong academic backgrounds, industry experience, and a track record of research and innovation. Professors who have published papers, received awards, or contributed to significant projects can offer valuable insights and expertise to students. 2. Research Opportunities: A strong engineering faculty will provide students with opportunities to engage in research projects, internships, and collaborative work with industry partners. Research-active faculty members can offer students the chance to explore advanced topics and gain practical skills. 3. Teaching Methods: The best engineering faculty will employ a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, hands-on projects, case studies, and practical applications. Professors who are effective communicators and can make complex topics understandable will greatly benefit students. 4. Student Support: Look for faculty members who are accessible and supportive of student needs. Faculty members who are willing to mentor students, provide career guidance, and offer support outside of the classroom can greatly enhance the educational experience. 5. Industry Connections: A strong engineering faculty will have connections with industry leaders, which can lead to internships, networking opportunities, and potential job placements for students. Look for faculty who actively engage with industry partners and bring real-world perspectives to the classroom. 6. Continuous Learning and Development: The best engineering faculty members are committed to their own professional growth and development. They may pursue further studies, attend conferences, or engage in industry projects to stay updated with the latest developments in their field. When evaluating an engineering faculty, it's also important to consider the specific engineering disciplines offered, the faculty-to-student ratio, and the overall reputation of the institution. Keep in mind that a combination of strong faculty, well-designed curriculum, and a supportive learning environment can contribute to an outstanding engineering education.
Overall: Overall rating of college is average because college is good but there is quite connectivity issue specially at in night. Chandigarh campus is much better than this campus.
Faculty: The faculty of this is highly qualified some teacher are PhD holders from IITs. So permanent faculty is good but guest faculty is some time good but some time not. In this college there is little bit shortage of faculty due to unavailability of guest faculty and work load of permanent faculty.
Overall: Okay so basically the college is at the outskirts of hoshiarpur...very distant from the city so there is no sort of enjoyment for students like ghumna firna...but the environment is so soothing and peaceful there. ..free from stress ...even some of my seniors dropped the plan of pumeet and stayed there only (it is a migration test to transfer to the main center in chandigarh).....for ECE and Mechanical branch i don't think it's that good......bit for the computer /coding based domains its a nice match ...basically for IT and CSE...... Apart from this there are a lot of extra activities promoting through various societies ..... like the technical society....D-cult for dance there is a drama society too .... Even the law department there also have some of there's too law related...... A lot of fests do usually happens and even sports meet.....even the students too participate connected to various societies......recently a fest is going to take place...its by the law department namely "Aequitas" 17 to 19.... Also a sports meet too very soon.... Overall campus is full of activities
Faculty: So all the teachers are good rest thode se khdoos toh kuch kuch hrrr jagah mill hi jate h....but everyone teaches well.... Some of the teachers have very friendly nature.... Even they try to update the students about the modern technologies in class themselves...and intakes active student participation.... And also encourages students for their startups and various societies om the college itself
