About PRIST University
PRIST University Madurai is a Deemed-to-be University, established in the year 2008. The university has been accredited by NAAC and has been approved by the AICTE and NCTE. PRIST University has been recognised as a Research Institute by DSIR, Government of India. PRIST University courses are offered for various streams including UG, PG and doctoral levels. The courses are offered in the streams of Science, Engineering, Management, Law Education and Arts that are offered by various designated departments like School of Law, School of Architecture, School of Education, School of Agriculture, School of Pharmacy, School of Engineering & Technology, School of Arts & Science, and School of Commerce & Business Management.
The PRIST University Madurai is approved by the Bar Council of India, Pharmacy Council of India and Council of Architecture for its law, pharmacy and architecture courses respectively. As per the PRIST University admission process, one has to appear for the PRIST Entrance Exam that is conducted for admission to most of the courses. PRIST University Scholarships
There are scholarships that students can avail.Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and technology scholarships can be availed by students from economically weaker sections. They are selected for the scholarships based on the marks (CGPA) in the qualifying examination. On considering the income of the family the eligible students get a tuition fee waiver from 50% to 100%. But other applicable fees for the concerned program are to be paid.
PRIST University Madurai Scholarships are also given to the achievers in the field of sports.
