JEE Main Admit Card 2025:
The JEE Main 2025 admit card will be released by the National Testing Agency 3 days before the exam day. Therefore, candidates willing to appear for the JEE Main 2025 exam can expect that the authorities will release the JEE Main admit card 2025 on January 19, 2025 for Session 1 exam and on March 31, 2025 for the Session 2 exam. National Testing Agency will release the JEE Main 2025 admit card at its official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in tentatively on January 19, 2025 for Session 1 exam and on March 31, 2025, for Session 2 exam. Candidates will only be allowed to download the admit card of JEE Main 2025 Exam in the online mode. Students must take note that no copy of the admit card will be sent or distributed by the authorities in the offline mode. Step 2: Click on the “JEE Main Admit Card 2025” activated download link
Step 3: A new window will open where candidates have to enter their login credentials like application number, date of birth and security pin.
Step 4: After entering all the details candidates have to click on the “Submit” tab.

Difference Between JEE Main Admit Card and City Intimation Slip
Before the release of the admit card of JEE Main 2025, the National Testing Agency will release the city intimation slip on its official website. The city intimation slip includes important details like the name of the city where the exam venue is situated, date of the exam and the timings of the exam. Since JEE Main is an All India exam and the centres are located all over the country, the advanced city intimation slip informs the candidates well in advance about the place where the exam centre is situated so that in case a candidate has to travel, they can make necessary arrangements well in advance.
However, the JEE Main 2025 admit card is the ticket to enter the centre of the examination. Candidates are required to carry a hard copy of the admit card on the day of the exam at the exam centre.
Important Instructions Regarding JEE Main Admit Card 2025
Students should take note of the important instructions pertaining to the admit card of JEE Main 2025 here.
- It is recommended that candidates arrive at the examination centre promptly, ideally two hours prior to the exam's start time.
- To be admitted into the examination room or hall, the candidate must present their printed or downloaded admit card from the NTA website as needed. The on-duty test centre staff is permitted to confirm candidates' identities and may take action to validate their identity documents. The Centre Superintendent will not, under any circumstances, allow candidates to take the exam if they do not have valid Admit Cards and authorised Photo IDs.
- Candidates must carry the printed copy of the admit card along with the self-declaration downloaded from the NTA website and duly filled and signed by the candidates. Alongside, they should also be carrying one passport-size photograph similar to the one uploaded during filling of the application form. Moreover, students should also carry a valid ID proof along with the admit card.
- PwD category candidates must carry the PwD certificate issued by the medical officer.
- Candidates should not be carrying any electronic devices, log books or materials that represent unfair practices inside the examination hall.
- Even if a candidate is later discovered to have multiple Application Numbers, they will be considered unfair means (UFM) and face severe consequences.
