• For admission into MCA, the candidate must have completed a B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. with mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level with additional required courses as per the norms of the recognised university.
• Diploma with a minimum of 50%: This criterion has to be fulfilled for lateral entry in B. Tech. For admission into B. Tech (Lateral Entry) in Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, a candidate must have a diploma from an AICTE-approved institution or pass any equivalent exam from a recognised university, and 10+2 pass with one of the subjects being mathematics.
