Overall: Rating: 8/10 Specific Aspects That Influenced My Choice 1. Practical Learning: The presence of hands-on projects, internships, and case studies was a major factor. These aspects are in line with the requirements of the industry and provide practical experience. 2. Specialization Options: The presence of electives in [specific domain] made the course attractive for those who wish to acquire niche expertise. 3. Core Subjects Revamp: The emphasis on fundamental learnings, along with those emerging topics such as, for example, AI or data analytics, was all relevant to modern industry types. Preparation for Job Roles or Advanced Learning Pursuits Real-World Ability: The curriculum ties basic concepts with real-world jobs, so students can adapt in the workplace. However, if more industry-specific certifications or industry-specific tools, such as ([specific tools/software]), have been added. Further Research: The course lays a solid foundation for further research or advanced degrees in [specific fields]. Suggestions for Improvement 1. Curriculum Upgrades: Some topics seem quite outdated and could include some recent developments in [specific areas, e.g., sustainability, advanced tech]. 2. Teaching Methodology: The use of interactive methods such as flipped classrooms, more live projects, and peer discussions may improve learning. 3. Industry Exposure: More guest lectures, workshops, or tie-ups with industry leaders would bring in real-world exposure. Frequency of Exams and Difficulty Frequency: Mid-terms and finals every semester; assignments and quizzes continuously through the semester. Timing: Conducted mid-semester so that there is enough preparation time but may clash with the project deadlines. Difficulty Level: Exams are moderately difficult with an application-based question. Sometimes the practical exams are tougher, as it demands practical expertise.

Placement: The placement process is considered an integral part of a student's life within the college, with particular attention to preparing students for professional careers. Here is the outline of how the whole system of placement works and outcomes from it for the students. Placement Preparation 1. Eligibility: Students become eligible for the campus placements from the 6th semester (3rd year) onwards, depending on the minimum academic qualifications which are usually a CGPA cut-off. The placement cell conducts the following preplacement training exercises resume building mock interviews, soft skills aptitude test etc. 2. Preplacement Exercises Companies pay a visit to the campus to deliver a set of presentations where they discuss minute details on the selection procedure, role profiles, and culture etc. Preplacement drives generally kick off by way of testing the minds in aptitude/technical formats. Interviews or group discussion would be next Recruiters and Job Profile 1. Companies to the Campus Major tech companies such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, and Microsoft are regular recruiters. Core engineering and manufacturing companies like L&T, Bosch, and Tata Steel also participate. Financial and consulting giants like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and Goldman Sachs actively recruit students from the campus. Startups and e-commerce companies like Zomato, Flipkart, and Urban Company visit as well. 2. Job Profiles: Technical Roles: Software Engineer, Data Analyst, System Engineer Non-technical Jobs: Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, Marketing Associate, HR Executive Internships: Many companies also provide internships, which sometimes are converted into full-time jobs upon graduation. Placement Statistics 1. Percentage of Students Placed: 89% of eligible students get placed through campus recruitment and a high percentage of them end up in top companies. The placement rate may also differ by discipline, with more engineering and computer science graduates getting placed than those belonging to non-technical streams. 2. Highest and Average Package: Highest: 2400000 offered by Infosys. Average Package: ₹700000 by different sectors such as IT, finance, and core engineering. The highest paying role would be in the technology sector, especially in the areas of software development or data science. 3. On-Campus vs Off-Campus Placements: Most students prefer on-campus placements, but some may want to seek off-campus job opportunities, especially for niche roles or specific industries. Student Support During Placements 1. Placement Cell: The Placement Cell is one of the most important places where interactions between students and recruiters are facilitated, mock interviews are conducted, and students are assisted with company research and career counseling. They also guide for higher studies or competitive exams (e.g., GRE, GATE, UPSC) for those choosing not to take up immediate employment. 2. Alumni Network: The college has an outstanding alumni network, where many alumni are returning as guest speakers and mentors during placement drives. They also frequently facilitate students in getting in touch with recruiters in their respective industries. Placements After Graduation Job Offers: Most of the students opt for campus-recruitments from companies that are visiting the college, especially in startups to enjoy work with a more dynamic scenario. Higher Studies: Part of the batch is seen opting for higher studies such as an MBA, M.S., or any other area of specialization. The college helps them with entrance examination preparations. Entrepreneurship: A few of the students, especially from tech-based streams, do startup-related work after the completion of the course. Suggestions for Improvement 1. More Industry-Specific Training: Providing students with additional industry-specific certifications or training (in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, etc.) would enhance their employability in niche areas. 2. Diversity of Recruiters: Expanding the variety of recruiters across sectors like design, media, and communication would offer a wider range of opportunities.
