ECE Syllabus and Subjects Overview

ECE syllabus 2025 primarily focuses on planning, devising, construction, and maintenance of electronic devices and communication systems. The BTech ECE Syllabus consists of subjects that cover signal processing, circuit analysis, communication systems, electromagnetism, digital electronics, microprocessors and microcontrollers, and network theory. ECE Syllabus semester wise covers six subjects each semester. ECE subjects contained in the course curriculum are Internet of Things, Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Signals and Systems, Electromagnetism, Linear Algebra, Circuit Theory, Digital Logic Design, and Digital Communication Systems. There are 4,700 ECE colleges in India that focuses on the Electronics and Communication Engineering Syllabus prescribed by the AICTE.

ECE Subjects 1st year consist of Basic Electrical Engineering, Basic Electronics Engineering, and Electromagnetic Field Theory. ECE Admission can be done through entrance exams such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, MHT CET, GATE, etc. The Electronics and Communication Engineering examination is based on a system of grade points and credits. The examination system is comprised of eight semesters, regular assignments, lab examinations, and several continuous assessments. These assessments include both theoretical and practical examinations. The student's performance in these exams, assignments, and assessments is evaluated, and they are assigned grade points (GP) and grades based on their performance.
