About Masters in Urban and Rural Planning (MURP)

Masters in Urban and Rural Planning is a two-year postgraduate programme where the students are taught the basics of planning and applications of planning in our day to day lives. This course is also known as M.Arch in Urban and Rural Planning. This two-year postgraduate degree programme is divided into 04 semesters.  The Masters in Urban and Rural Planning course provides the edge of learning in the field of architecture and planning.

Masters in Urban and Rural Planning (MURP) Eligibility Criteria

Students with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree from a recognised University are eligible to apply for the Masters in Urban and Rural Planning programme. The applicants must have an aggregate score of 50%in their B.Arch degree examination as well.

Master of Urban and Rural Planning Admission Process

For admission into the Masters of Urban and Rural Planning offered by various institutes, the applicants have to appear in entrance exams like CEED, GATE etc. Based on the marks secured by the applicants in these entrance exams, admissions into the postgraduate Urban and Rural Planning is offered.
