BPUT Application Process 2024
The application procedure for the BPUT MBA course typically begins in March of each year with the release of the application form. The university has different selection criteria for different courses. BPUT application process takes place online. Candidates must complete the Biju Patnaik University of Technology application form by following the steps outlined below:
- Visit the BPUT official website (https://www.bput.ac.in/admissions).
- Choose the programme and fill out the registration form with the necessary information, such as educational details, personal information, and contact information.
- The candidate's scanned signatures and colour pictures must be uploaded together with the Biju Patnaik University of Technology application form. To minimise complications during the admissions process, students should keep all essential documents on hand, such as their birth certificate, category certificate, last qualifying degree certificate, and so on.
- Lastly, fill out the application form and submit it. And pay the BPUT application fee online using any online payment method, including net banking, credit and debit cards, BHIM UPI, Paytm, and others. Candidates should save the receipt for the amount paid as proof for future reference. If the Confirmation Page is not generated after completing the fee payment, the transaction is cancelled and the money deducted is refunded to the candidate's account. The candidates must next conduct additional transactions.
- Candidates who are eligible will be invited to take the admission exam (Except for MBA). MBA candidates must enter their CAT score in the Biju Patnaik University of Technology application form 2022, and if they are shortlisted, they will be invited for a group discussion and personal interview. Admission is provided based on the candidate's performance in all rounds of selection.
- The BPUTET is a computer-based test that must be passed in order to be considered for admission. Candidates who pass the examination are invited for a viva voce by the Biju Patnaik University of Technology admission committee (the admission committee is different for different courses). Candidates for admission to BPUT are chosen based on their total performance in the previous qualifying examination, BPUTEE marks, and Viva-voce marks.
- Only PhD candidates who have qualified for national-level entrance tests such as the UGC/CSIR NET (JRF) examination, SET, GATE (with a valid score), or Teacher Research Fellowship are exempt.

BPUT Campus Facilities and Infrastructure
BPUT campus includes everything a student needs for their complete development. The university is committed to providing students with the best learning environment and the most advanced infrastructure for professional development. The BPUT campus includes over ten schools and special centres, classroom complexes, student, professor, and residential staff quarters, a 24-hour healthcare centre, and an administration block. Furthermore, the campus has a sports field for indoor and outdoor games, a gym, an ATM, a library, a mess, and shopping facilities.
- Hostel – The BPUT hostel is vast, and well-equipped with a large dining hall available. Each of the seventeen hostels has its own live-in warden and a faculty member who administers the lodging, as well as recreational facilities such as TVs, fitness clubs, indoor games, and PCOs. Due to the restricted capacity of the hostels, admittance to BPUT does not guarantee guaranteed hostel lodging. BPUT provides students with accommodation depending on a variety of parameters. There is, for example, a separate hostel for married students. There are two hostels for both girls and boys.
- Gym - The gym is one of the campus facilities at Biju Patnaik University of Technology. Students can take care of their health and fitness by using the University's gymnasium facility. The gym has a good selection of workout and training equipment. The gym assists students in staying fit and healthy.
- Sports - The BPUT campus features outdoor and indoor recreation amenities for students, including basketball, badminton, tennis courts, cricket grounds, and football fields. There is also a running track on the university sports ground. Weightlifting, taekwondo, trekking, and mountaineering are also encouraged at the university.
- Cafeteria – Chinese, Indian, and South Indian cuisines are available in the University's air-conditioned cafeteria. On campus, there is another split cafeteria for coffee and snacks.
- Auditorium – Auditoriums, lecture halls, a committee room, and a training room are available at the Biju Patnaik University of Technology convention center. All of these are utilised for academic discussions, conferences, seminars, slide and film exhibitions, demonstrations, lectures, and workshops, among other things.
- Healthcare- Since its beginning in 1973, the health centre at Biju Patnaik University of Technology has strived to provide comprehensive health care, i.e., preventative, curative, and promotional services to students solely. However, there is a CGHS dispensary on campus for University workers.
- Wifi – All laboratories, libraries, dormitories, auditoriums and lecture halls, and even guest rooms at the university have high-speed internet connectivity. The campus has been adopting the latest next-generation wireless technology standard for wifi networks so that instructors, students, and support staff may readily access data, voice, multimedia, and video conferencing services, as well as research, e-learning, and business applications.
- IT Infrastructure – BPUT has set up facilities for all students, project staff, and faculty members to use in-house E-mail, computers, and internet services. This University unit provides students with a variety of E-services in the areas of literature search, calculation, and graphics.
- Laboratories – The laboratories of Biju Patnaik University of Technology are air-conditioned and equipped with a variety of sophisticated instrumental facilities relating to all areas. They are complicated but well-equipped, allowing more than 40 pupils to conduct experiments at the same time.
- Convenience Stores – The BPUT campus contains a few department stores to help students with their everyday shopping.
- Alumni Associations – BPUT is proud of its alumni base of around 5000 people. They have worked as social scientists, scientists, literary critics, civil servants, media experts, journalists, foreign language specialists, political leaders, technologists, social activists, business owners, and managers.
- Parking Facility - Students and faculty and staff have access to a parking lot at the university.
- Banks Facilities – ATMs are available at BPUT's financial facilities.
- Library – Biju Patnaik University of Technology has as many libraries as schools, each with a large collection of books on various topics. The library includes a large number of technical and competitive books, but it lacks novels and other art collections. It also features an e-reading area with PCs and internet access.

Biju Patnaik University of Technology scholarships provide equal opportunities to all Biju Patnaik University students. This university also meets all of the students' financial requirements. In order to give students more opportunities, Biju Patnaik University offers scholarships to all eligible students.
There are some other scholarships that BPUT students can avail. These are:
- Scholarships from the Central Government: The Odisha government has developed a number of scholarship programmes to help students receive a high-quality education. It is the state of Odisha's flagship project. Students at BPUT can easily qualify for these scholarships because it is a state university.
- The Skill Development and Technical Education department offers a merit-cumulative-poverty scholarship to promote girl child education. The Sudakshya Grant for girls is one such scholarship available at BPUT.
- E-Medhabruti Scholarship: Students whose family income does not exceed 6 LPA are eligible for this scheme, which provides cash.

- This college offers students the opportunity to obtain insurance through New India Assurance Company Limited, which offers the following insurance policies to students:
- In the event of the student's death due to an accident, Rs 2,000,000 will be considered for the parent.
