Overall: Jadavpur University offers an excellent learning environment for commerce students. The faculty of commerce is really supportive and consistently devise new means to upgrade the academic performance of students. The library has a good collection of all the latest edition & volumes on commerce.

Placement: The commerce students do not have placement opportunities in comparison to the other departments or streams. But the placement cell still coaches us in cracking interviews by conducting mock sessions and giving tips on how to present oneself during interviews.

Infrastructure: The entire campus is given a clean & tidy look regularly. The university focuses on offering a calm and pleasant learning ambience to the students. The rooms, labs, and even washrooms are kept in the most pristine condition. Plus, there’s a cafeteria, a guest house, a health centre, a day care centre, and a well-stocked library.

Faculty: The commerce faculty of Jadavpur University is the really the best. They are extremely patient and take time to ensure that every student is able to understand the concepts taught. Some of our professors are Ph.D holders. We even have guest lecturers invited to help us with our lessons.

Hostel: The hostel rooms are quite big and have lot of space. They even have all the required facilities like geyser, AC, and so on. The food served in the canteen is alright to be eaten but not so good. You can also choose for other options but they are on a pay-per basis.
