Overall: Jadavpur University is a state runed public university which completes 4 year Bachelor of Engineering (10+ branches including CSE, IT, etc) with a course fee of Rs 9600 (Rs 2400/year) and the average package of the college is 10 Lakh per annum. It has NIRF ranking of 10 in Engineering category.

Faculty: Our college faculty are very good and help students in every possible way. Most of our college faculties have done their higher studies from IIT, NIT, etc and many of them are listed in top 2 % scientist in the world (An annual report published by Stanford University)

Overall: It is the best state funded institute ever in India. JU maintained it top rank position constantly for several years. Primarily it is popular for it's Engeneering branches and placement but there are top renowned faculty members in other streams as well. Undoubtedly the most affordable university in the entire country where one can expect to get their degree within just 5k-10k rupees only. It has 2 huge beautiful campus (other one is in Salt Lake). There so many cultural club/society who are actively organised so many programs and fests through out the years. Many people think JU is very much unstable when it comes to students politics but the reality is a little bit different. We all are united whenever needed. Union helps students in so many ways. Getting sufficient government funding in time is one of the main problem in this university. Other than that the administrative department of this University is little bit slow.

Faculty: Faculty strength is one of the reason that makes JU special. Each department has very renowned world class and experienced professors with diverse specialisation. JU has enough faculty members but still there are some postion are still vacants and is not full filled for so many years. In my department all the professors are very much student friendly. They take regular classes and guide us for so many co and extra curricular activities. They take regular assessments and arrange seminars.

Overall: Overall the experience of jadavpur university is awesome. The best ROI in India.A good placement record almost 100% placement. Good professors. Locality is cheap and gives good vibes. Campus is also lush and green. We have all clubs and societies. Annual fests are organised in JU like Sanskriti, Srijan , Ibdita .. many small technical and cultural fests are also organised by various clubs. Everything adds to he college life which gives a great experience and joy with good friends.

Faculty: The faculty of JU is highly appreciable. Almost all of them hold a foreign degree with many no of research paper published. attending their class feels really good except a few who are quite boring. Professors are stuck to the old & traditional way of teaching..it would be better if some placement stuffs are incorporated in the curriculum.

Faculty: Known for its highly qualified faculty. Some are among top 2 percent scientists. Innovation, research and Technology are the key identify of it. Acadmic structure is in some department quite back dated, but most of the cases , it is very good. Faculties are helpful and you can approach them anytime, easily.

Faculty: The faculty of the college is very nice and humble, if you do have any problem or query you can ask them n numbers of times , they will try to help you in the best way they can .

Overall: My experience in this college was amazing. I got best skills and experience. I highly Suggest you to get admission in this college as this is the place where you can nourish your skills .

Faculty: Faculty is not just about teachers but non teaching staff too. And here you'll get both the best teachers and other cooperative staff . Everyone is skilled and experienced.
