Welfare schemes for students include financial assistance/scholarships from Government, reservation in admission, bus/railway concession. Health check-ups at regular intervals and prescription of medicine in allopathy along with supply of Homoeo medicines.

Post metric scholarship for SC/ ST/ OBC students, Free-Half-free studentship, UGC stipend, Book Bank facilities excursion grants, Institutional Scholarships etc. every year are awarded.

A total of 2531 students have been awarded post-metric scholarship amounting Rs.9361000/- , 1530 students have been extended financial aid in the form of free studentship amounting to sum of Rs. 861700/-, 235 students have been awarded minority scholarship of the amount Rs. 969000/-, 24 students have been awarded Sitaram Jindal Foundation award of the amount of Rs. 68400/-, 359 students have been awarded merit scholarship of the amount of Rs. 3567600/- and institutional scholarship of the amount of Rs. 56500/- have been awarded in the last 05 years. UGC stipend of the amount of Rs. 4.2 Lakh has been distributed to 332 SC/ ST/ OBC and other economically backward students.
