The team 'JHANKAR', a dance group which specializes in Contemporary style of dance and which has made its mark for two consecutive years now, is known for its culture, the theme it presents in the form of stories and its presentation. Formed in 2010, this group comprises of dedicated dancers from almost all streams of dance such as Kathhakali, Bharatnatyam, Contemporary, odissi and others. They believe 'DANCE TO EXPRESS NOT TO IMPRESS'.
The essence of happiness, Joy, sorrow and the most special moments are expressed in terms of music, A creation of oneself in expressivity. Therefore the "SHADJAM" has its own way of composition in melody stared in 2006 at NMIT and till date every member of this group themselves just like the saptaswara, jumbling around and create their own music.
As a human tendency they grasp the good and beautiful things and inculcate them no matter by looking at a teacher or a good performer, after this year excellent performance, the various students have found the goodness and has started to feel the same pleasure which flows through the blood of members of this music club.
Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology has created excellent infrastructure for promoting sports activities for the benefit of students ,it has both Out_door and Indoor facilities, It has multipurpose 200m trackand an hockey ground. Further,it has provided good facilitiesfor other Outdoor games such as ,Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball,Ball Batminton,Shuttle Batminton and Throwball.Incase of Indoor games, the college has created good facilities for games such as Table Tennis, Carrom and Chess. The College is Taking part in the zonal, Interzone and Varsity Level Tournaments.Before Participating in these events, their teams are being trained by the Specialist coaches. Leadership is an essential aspect of Rotary, which offers both clubs and programs to help emerging leaders develop their leadership skills. Through these groups, Rotaractors of NMI–Bengaluru strengthen their leadership skills, serve their communities, increase their understanding of the world, build friendships and develop professionally. Club of “NMIT – Bengaluru” is an International program for adults of ages 18 to 30 who want to make a difference. It was founded in 1968 by Rotary International, an association of clubs made up of service-minded business and professional leaders. Today, there are more than 8,400 Rotary Club sponsored Rotaract Clubs with some 1,73,000 members, known as Rotaractors in over 170 countries. Rotaract brings together people in universities and communities worldwide to organize service activities, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun.
The Rotaract Club of “NMIT – Bengaluru” was launched in November, 2009 at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. Rotaractors of NMIT take advantage of district conferences, projects, and training seminars and participate in an international meeting prior to the annual Rotary International Convention. The Indian Parliament passed the National Cadet Corps Act in 1948, thus creating the National Cadet Corps (NCC). The motto of the NCC is Unity and Discipline.
The National Cadet Corps have been created with the following objectives:
To develop qualities like Character, Comradeship, Discipline, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure, Sportsmanship and Ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizens.
To create trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life and always be available for the service of the nation.
To provide a suitable environment to motivate youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces.
With the above objectives in mind, NMIT (Nitte Meenakshi Insititute of Technology) launched the NCC army technical company in the year 2004. The goals for launching NCC were to inculcate the national spirit and discipline among students. NCC of NMIT is attached to 1KAR Signal Regiment NCC, Bangalore-A Group, Karnataka and Goa Directorate.
To promote fitness and discipline among college students, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has directed Universities across the country to offer NCC as an Elective subject. NMIT is one of the first Institutions in the country to offer NCC as an elective subject starting in the academic year 2013-14.
The NCC activities are coordinated by Capt. Rajesh N., Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure, teaching, laboratories,classrooms are very good.Nmit have several playgrounds and clubs.Nmit provides best placement every year.overall infrastructure is good.
Hostel: Hostel in NMIT campus area best but out campus hostels are worst and food is not good in our campus hostels,but in campus hostels are best and food in mess is also good and hygiene.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the colleges loaded with all the basic facilities. You get a variety of lab for each department separately. Total service is also provided to the students of nearby areas.
Hostel: The hostels of the college are well maintain and clean. The quality of mess food is also good. All other facilities in the hostel are good so you will not be any problem.
Hostel: Hostile facility is average in nature.It is congested because of the number of students are more than the number of rooms.Available label food quality is really nice.And hygiene is maintained here
Infrastructure: Admission process was fully Handled by KΕΑ board. Cutoff for CSE was 7000 rank in KCET. I secured 5834 rank so got seat in the first round ↑ They asked my all necessary documents and it not very hard to submit. We had to submit it through the email. I got SNQ reservation so my fees was decreased from 96000 to 33000. One thing I didn't like is they started portions before the admission of third round completed.
Hostel: Hostels are pretty good, they are clean and mostly hygenic, rooms are in good condition too. In mess, the food is okayish. They serve pretty good food during festivals or some event. The timings for hostels are equal for both boys and girls
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this institute is good. There is smart classes available. There is computer in update version.There is library well maintain. There is activity center.
Hostel: The hostel of this institute is good. There is limited bed. The staff of the hostel is helpful when you need. The environment of this hostel is safe . The food of the hostel is not bad.

Infrastructure: Our campus size is 25 acres which is not so big but not so small also. It's infrastructure is good it contains cricket ground football turf basketball court badminton court volleyball court .
Hostel: There are 4 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel in nmit bangalore . There is laundry facilities in the hostel and two vending machines are also there in each hostel. There is separate gym for both boys and girls
Infrastructure: I can assure you that the college has all the facilities like gym, hostel, cafeteria, garden, auditorium, halls, and a game hub. The quality of food provided in the canteen is also good, and the campus is also very big. Quality of food is poor in hostel and the other facilities are good, Also a number of buses present for transportation across several routes.
Hostel: Hostel rooms are pretty decent but the mess food is very bad. So mostly students don't eat from mess.It is compulsory to pay for mess even if u don't eat
Infrastructure: Nmit has one of best infrastructure in buildings and research and development facilities like Centre of excellence in mechanical engineering and robotics
Hostel: Nitte has very hygiene and sanitation facilities in hostel and mainly ragging is strictly prohibited in college hostel and mess food on festivals is good
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of overall college is great compared to polytechnic the classroom is spacious, as basic amenities and cctv surveillance and Power back up
Hostel: The hostel facilities is great, the rooms are spacious, the food is good, the washrooms are cleanly maintained The housekeeping does a great job Would suggest it
