Overall: It is excellent universitie it have amazing faculty with great teaching skill, teachers are very supportive and helpful in natue , they have fantastic knowledge about their subjects. The University campus is Wi-Fi enabled, with smart classrooms for efficient and practical instruction. The entire campus of University is devoted to the overall growth of students.
Placement: Placements are very good in our college, according to seniors. Most of the placements were in mass recruitment, with maximum students getting placed into companies like Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, etc., few of them getting off campus placements into companies like Google and Amazon.
Infrastructure: The building is good. It is huge and there are several blocks in the university. They are properly named with proper space and classrooms. There are washrooms in each floor. The libraries are well-stocked with the latest collection of books.
Faculty: Faculty are well educated and friendly. They teach like a friendly behaviour they are always help to everyone student even a small enquiry.they always available whenever the needed.
Hostel: The Hostel surroundings are clean. 24x7 water and electricity supply with backup. rooms have windows for cross ventilation. No animals should be allowed to enter the hostel premises
Overall: Very good college and campus is very good and environment is very good and excellent college and All the teachers here are very much supportive, interactive and are highly qualified. They always support us not only in our study but also mentally.Medical facilities, pharmacy, ambulance are also available in campus.
Placement: Placements cell is active in the college and help you for placing you in the good comaipany. The top recruiters who came to the campus were Cognizant, TCS, Hexaware Technologies, In Time Tec, Pinnacle Infotech, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members at our university are awesome, knowledgeable, and qualified. Exams are good. The difficulty level of exams is moderate and it depends on students' level of preparation.
Hostel: The food of the hostel which they provided is good and unlimited food and it is good to taste. The security of the students is very high. Medical facilities is also here.
Overall: I have completed my graduation in architecture from Chandigarh University. I took admission in the programme through NATA. As per my experience in these four years, I can say that Chandigarsh University is one of the best universities and I am happy to be a part of it. It has received an A+ grade from NAAC. Do you know, Chandigarh University is India’s youngest University to receive an A+ grade in the first cycle of accreditation itself! This is not all, our university has been ranked 29th in the university category by NIRF in 2022. In QS World University Rankings 2023, it stood third among the top private Indian universities. It offers over 200 courses and you will surely get to study in this prestigious university in whatever course you opt for. Make sure you perform well in the entrance exams!
Placement: Chandigarh University offers both placement and internship opportunities to its students. During my study tenure, the average internship stipend was Rs 38,427. It also reached Rs 70,000 in 2022. The top companies recruiting students for internships were Adobe, Morgan, Amazon, Wipro, Toshiba. The placement record of the university is also very good. The all-time highest international package offered was a whooping Rs 1.7 crore LPA. I took part in the Chandigarh placement drive 2022, and we received a total of 6100+ offers.
Infrastructure: Chandigarh University campus is spread across 250 acres of land and has a total of 18 institutes. Students from 46 countries are pursuing their graduation and postgraduation in Chandigarh University and the total number of students is 26,000. Such a huge diversity is a testament to the well-equipped and up-to-date infrastructural facilities provided here. It has a total of thirteen libraries, 30 industry-sponsored advanced research laboratories, Technology Business Incubator (TBI) and many such resources. The highlight of our university is the Kalpana Chawla Centre for Research in Space Science and Technology.
Faculty: Our university has international memberships with the International Association of Universities, Association of Commonwealth Universities, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Indo US Collaboration for Engineering Education and American Chemical Society. We were also provided with requisite guidance from many top guest faculties from time to time. Professor Maria Zarudnaya, Dr Kosum Omphornuwat, Dr Julia Connwell were some of them.
Hostel: We were provided with separate hostels for girls and boys with attached mess and modern amenities. Our facilities included internet, music room, common room with TV & cable facility, salon facilities, room for indoor games, a reading room, a fully equipped gym, separate courts for volleyball, basketball, and badminton etc. The hostel fee is within the bracket of Rs 1,06,800- Rs 2,10,000.
Overall: I am Suchit from Gujarat and I am currently studying B.Arch at Chandigarh University. My cousin was a student of this university so after completing Class 12, I decided to join this university to become an architect. I got admission through the CUCET exam and my course fee is around Rs 1,00,000 per semester. I also received a fee concession of 30% because of my CUCET score.
Placement: The B.Arch course at Chandigarh University is really job-oriented and most of the B.Arch students get placed during the final placement session. The Career Planning & Development Department also helps us make the right career choices. Throughout the year, tech and cultural events are organised by the university. This helps us to meet new people, share our experiences with them, and learn together. Last year’s Tech Invent was really special for me because of the presence of Habeeb Khan, President, Council of Architecture.
Faculty: The Institute of Architecture was ranked 19th in the architecture category by the NIRF ranking 2022. Major credit for this achievement goes to our teachers and support staff. Our teachers also encourage us in joining the study aboard programme and prepare is for that.
Hostel: Chandigarh University has multiple hostels for both boys and girls. The hostel fee will depend on the choice of your hostel and room type. We have options for both AC and non-AC rooms. I reside in a double seater non-AC room. So, I am currently paying Rs. 198000 /- as the hostel charges.
