Overall: the chandigarh university,,, is well outstanding university,,,,most of my senior sy that very good placements oppourtunity here,,,, this is good place to study
Overall: Overall experience was average. I have got some very good friends. Some teachers who motivate us even infrastructure was really nice. Hostel was also good.
Placement: Not every student of this institute gets placement. Only less numbers of student gets placed like 30%. BUT IF YOU WORK HARD SURELY YOU'LL GET THE PLACEMENT
Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastructure, the buildings are creatively made.Arena for sports was available.Libraries are available.WI services are available.Yeah , this institute infrastructure wise is good
Faculty: Faculties of this institute are really helping in nature and supportive at the same time. They are well qualified and motivates the students to do well in all the areas
Hostel: Hostel facility is good. Quality of food served by mess is average but we used to get varieties each day. Overall cleanliness and hygiene is maintained here
Overall: Great ambience. Faculty is actually useless but college provides a lot of opportunities that one can grab and devote to personal growth. Attendance needs to be 75% in all subjects for maintained scholarship so reconsider that since they provide scholarship for 1st year depending upon your merit
Placement: Placements are okay, however not so many good companies visit. A few do and it entirely depends upon the candidates capability. I’d say the average package is 4LPA
Infrastructure: Everything about infrastructure is great and there is lush greenery inside the campus. The university is entirely architecturally driven to attract students
Faculty: The faculty is mostly trash. They don’t have time to listen to your personal problems. You need to be following the processes tip to toe. In case that’s missed due to some accident or whatsoever reason, comes along the consequence to roam 4-5 departments. They will only redirect you and only after wasting so much of your time you will see some result, if any.
Hostel: I had stayed for 1 year in the hostel. It was a good experience. They provide 3/4/5Seaters for Indians and 1/2 seaters for foreigners. Food is actually much better than KIT/VIT/etc.
Overall: As a fourth year student at Chandigarh University, I can confidently say that my journey here has been nothing short of transformative . The computer science engineering (CSE) which specialisation in artificial intelligence and machine learning(AIML). Belive in yourself
Infrastructure: It has a very good infrastructure. complete campus area is very clean and a building is well designed. It is a very big campus. You can do anything here.
Overall: Chandigarh University is top most ranked university in Chandigarh with best facilities and environment with well experienced and helpful teachers. Several Seminars and Workshops are conducted through out the session.
Overall: Our college provide many courses in our campus so it provides many options for the students so we easily follow our passion. They also provide best campus experience.
Placement: In our college there are many opportunities for our students but they lack in skills so they don’t get that high package , at least our college provides us opportunities
Infrastructure: Our campus is very beautiful. You will see greenery and greenery all over around in our campus . You must visit D block of our campus and saw its architecture.
Faculty: In our college there are many faculties but according to my experience that the faculty of our college good or above average but their are some teachers are best
Hostel: Currently i am in the hostel , and i am not satisfied with their service . In detail i will explain that their room service is best but their food is worst.
Overall: Let me give you my personal honest review of CU. My name is Vishakha Gupta and I am currently pursuing my 4th year of CSE from CU. Like every other student, I was very confused about whether I should join CU for my CSE or other options. But at least I chose this university and it's been 4 years and I haven't regretted it ever. Be it study, placement, infrastructure, or facilities, CU is a university that focuses on quality and makes sure the students are provided with the right direction for their future.
Placement: CU is the best university in Punjab when it comes to placements. One of my seniors, named Ankit Arora bagged 32 LPA package which is the highest package ever offered to anyone. Now I am also trying my best to crack this record. The average package at CU is somewhere between 8 to 10 LPA. Top recruiters visiting CU for placements are Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Byjus, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at CU is quite impressive. There is greenery everywhere which makes us feel really positive and at home. There are different buildings for different departments and each building has its own laboratories. A number of facilities are provided by CU to its students including hostels, mess, library, canteens, playgrounds, tuck shops, etc. Personally, this is the only place you will enjoy real learning.
Faculty: If you are going to a university, one of the things which makes a lot of difference is the faculty. Faculty at CU are effective educators who impart knowledge, inspire critical thinking, and foster a positive learning environment. They were also able to communicate complex ideas clearly to us and engage us through interactive and innovative teaching methods which makes them one of the best faculties.
Hostel: The hostel at CU provides comfortable and adequately-sized rooms for students. The rooms have suitable furnishings, including beds, study desks, chairs, storage facilities, and appropriate lighting and ventilation. The hostel also has secure access control systems, CCTV cameras, fire safety measures, and emergency response systems.
Overall: Being a student of Chandigarh University, I have no complaints so far. In fact, in my opinion, Chandigarh University is the best university one can study in. The placement records are good, the faculty is very understanding and the campus facilities are also very good. I live in the hostel and the security and facilities are also satisfactory here.
Placement: They provide software development, data analysis and full-stack development, placement opportunities for our course. The placement cell is very engaging throughout the time. Roughly 900+ business organisations visited our university last year and recruited 500+ students. The placement rate of our university is around 95% or higher.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the greatest aspects of Chandigarh University. The university has extremely good infrastructure and is still constructing sophisticated infrastructure, they clean the campus on a regular basis, and they serve clean meals in their canteen.
Faculty: The tests are not challenging; they can be passed with minimal efforts, such as being in the lectures at university and studying them briefly. The passing rate is roughly 90%. Yes, the course material pertains in my opinion and the faculty are very good and helpful.
Hostel: The hostel students had access to all necessary amenities such as medical care, sports, and entertainment. They may play as well on the ground and keep the equipment that they need. The food provided in the hostel is of good quality, and a variety of dishes are served on a daily basis. Most days the food is not heavy on the stomach. Overall, the hostel facility at Chandigarh University is good.
Overall: Chandigarh University is a progressive private university located in Mohali, Punjab. It is one of the fastest growing and youngest universities in Punjab. Chandigarh University offers UG and PG courses in many domains like engineering, management, computers, hotel management, etc. A unique highlight of the university which very few people know is that it is the official coordination office of the UNA in India. Chandigarh University conducts its entrance-cum-scholarhship test known as Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). The performance of the test can give students the benefits of availing various scholarships at the institute along with admission allotment. Moreover, the Chandigarh University placements are also very good.
Placement: Chandigarh University has achieved the highest number of placements in 2023. Around 6100 placement offers were received by the institute which is claimed to be the highest in India. The highest overall package was around Rs 54 lakh per annum. This was achieved by an engineering student. For MBA, the highest package offered was of Rs 28 lakh per annum. Reportedly, more than 900 companies participated in the placement drive of Chandigarh University. The placement cell of the institute guides students and trains them for the placement process in their final year.
Infrastructure: Chandigarh University has its campus on the Chandigarh-Ludhiana highway in Mohali, Punjab. The campus is equipped with many modern-day facilities like libraries, hostels, labs, digital classes, sports grounds, computer labs, etc. The hostels are different for boys and girls. Easy transportation facilities are also available around the campus. The campus is pollution-free and environmentally friendly.
Hostel: Chandigarh University has beautiful hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are our homes away from home. Hostel rooms are available in many types ranging from single occupancy to 5 seater hostels. These are further available in AC and Non-AC types. The hostel fees is worth it when compared to other institutions. The fee ranges from Rs 90,000 to Rs 1,75,000 roughly. The overall campus life of the university is also very student friendly and many youth festivals are held at the hostels and overall campus.
Overall: I am a Bachelor of Engineering student at Chandigarh University and currently pursuing Computer Science and Engineering course at the university. The reason I selected CU for the B.E CSE course as this course is in collaboration with IBM. The curriculum and the academic aspects are well designed by the IBM experts and CU faculties to fulfil the industry requirements. Our university campus is very well known for its modern architecture, amenities, quality and facilities. The faculty at our university are qualified as well as performance oriented.
Placement: About 70 to 80 per cent of Chandigarh University students are placed in some of the top overseas businesses. The placement cell maintains partnerships with multiple companies for internships and hiring. Every year, about 500 corporations visit campuses to recruit students. One of our seniors received a package of Rs 50 LPA.
Infrastructure: Chandigarh University's campus and infrastructure are genuinely extremely good. Absolutely no complaints I had so far. Each student's requirements are catered for in the laboratories. The spacious library has over 15000+ books, newspapers and journals from every subject. The university has a sizable campus as well as parking options for students as well. The university hosts hackathons, marathons, and EDM events like "Tasha".
Faculty: Our university's faculty members have at least ten years of expertise in their respective fields. It would be quite simple for the student to pass the semester exams if they studied correctly because the lecturers, who all hold PhD degrees, are so competent. To pass the semester exam, a student must achieve about 50% marks in the semester examination.
Hostel: According to my observation, CU is the best anti-ragging hostel. The seniors are very supportive and they conduct a freshers party for the new students. The mess food is good in the majority of days and okay on some days. The facilities such as Wi-Fi service, hot and cold water, RO system, play area, and societies inside the hostel make the students feel comfortable.
