Overall: My experience in Chandigarh University has been good. I am a 2023 pass out and I got admission through CUCET Phase I. I received 50% scholarships as I was able to secure 89 marks. The bracket where you can avail 50% scholarship is 80 to 90 marks. Chandigarh University. In the QS University Rankings 2024, Chandigarh University has become the top private institute in India. In my four-year journey with Chandigarh University, I have not regretted choosing this university.
Placement: Placement in Chandigarh University is worth the money spent onj studies. I was one of the 3750 engineering students placed in some of the best companies in 2023. Currently, I am working in a good position in a reputed company with a CTC of 23.4 LPA. The highest international package that was offered was Rs 1.7 Cr. The highest national package is Rs 54.75 LPA
Infrastructure: Chandigarh University campus life is wonderful. From getting a chance to meet Bollywood celebrities to participating in various events, life here is fun along with studies. If you are a sports enthusiast, you will get a lot of exposure. The library in the university is the best with 11 electronic databases and access to over 7 lakh books, 3 lakh research papers, and 95000 + theses through the National Digital Library of India (NDL).
Faculty: The professors in our university are well experienced and provide the required guidance which is evident in the way the CU students performed in the placement interviews. A few names that I would like to mention, especially visiting and international faculties, are living examples of knowledge itself. Dr Kosum Omphornuwat and Maria Zarudnawa are a few of them.
Hostel: As a hosteller myself, I would say the fees is a bit high but worth the facilities given. I opted for a 2-seater AC room that cost me around Rs 1,98,000 per year. Internet, common room with TV, music room, salon, reading room with a collection of national/international newspapers/magazines, gym, Volleyball, Basketball, and Badminton courts are few of the facilities available.

Overall: I'm very satisfied with the way they teach and all preparation by the teachers for the lecture and making handwriting notes for the student so that they don't get distracted.
Placement: The placement cell has special programme for placement students and they provide books for the placement test practice so that students can clear there placement exam.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is very very classy and give a vintage look, and it has everything inside the campus. There is no need to go outside of the campus.
Faculty: Faculty here is very supportive in any work you do whether it is studies related or any personal work also faculty help you in your difficult times so good.
Hostel: The hostels are pretty good and the food is also tasty not that bad but it's good. They give 4 times meal in a day breakfast, lunch , snacks, dinner all week.
Overall: Chandigarh University is one of the best private universities in North India, Punjab. The university is located on the Chandigarh-Patiala Highway. Chandigarh University is recognised by the UGC and it is also approved by the AICTE. The university offers more than 200 courses at the UG, PG, and, PhD levels. Chandigarh University has more than 18 institutes of study. The university is most popular for its B.Tech/BE courses which are also its flagship courses. The admission to the majority of the courses at the university is based on the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test known as CUCET. Through the CUCET exam, the university also offers massive scholarships and concessions to students. The scholarships offered can go up to 100% exemption on the tuition fees depending on the performance of students in the CUCET exam.
Placement: Chandigarh University placements are very high. For the 2023 year, the university is in highlights since it received more than 6000 placement offers which is the highest number of offers received by any educational institution in India. The highest national package which amounted to Rs 54.75 lakh per annum was secured by Vandana Chauhan who is a B.Tech Computer Science student. The university has a huge campus and provides home-like hostel accommodation facilities for boys and girls. The hostels have separate rooms for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are available in 1-seater to 5-seater variations and have two categories which are AC and Non-AC hostels. The overall infrastructure is also modern and digitised. Some of the prominent infrastructure facilities are the canteen, library, labs, sports grounds, indoor sports rooms, etc.
Overall: Chandigarh University's infrastructure is outstanding and well-equipped with modern and advanced technology. The classrooms are well-maintained. A projector is present in all classrooms. A central library exists in the university with loads of books & journals in different respective fields. The campus is decorated well and eco-friendly. Free wifi is available on the Chandigarh University campus. Air-conditioned laboratories are available in this university at a sufficient number. Hostels are cleaned and reliable. There is free wifi in the hostel as well. There are separate hostels for boys and girls at Chandigarh University. The food in the hostel mess is of good quality. Different kinds of food are prepared at the hostel mess, so varieties exist there. The hostel authority maintains hygiene conditions in case of mess & cooking. The quality of the faculty members at this university varies from department to department or person to person. They are well-qualified and experts in their respective fields. Chandigarh University's curriculum is updated when needed each year. The Chandigarh University fees are a little bit high but affordable for students. For the benefit of students, the university has prepared a well-designed course fee structure to provide a detailed idea of each course. The fee ranges from Rs 3 lakhs to Rs 5 lakhs. Chandigarh University has an active placement cell that helps students to get placed quickly. Whenever a student needs help or support regarding placement, the cell is always there to help.
