Academics: Course Structure and Good Syllabus

Overall: Pros: Lots of course options to choose from, seemed up-to-date with industry trends. Small class sizes allowed for more personalized attention from professors in my experience. Cons: Some lecturers were hit-or-miss, a few seemed more focused on research than actual teaching. Library resources felt a bit limited for my specific research needs.

Placement: Placements seem promising, with strong numbers and diverse opportunities. Leverage the support system and do your research on specific companies and roles for a head start.

Infrastructure: Pros: Beautiful campus with lots of green spaces, felt safe and clean. Plenty of clubs and activities to get involved in, made some great friends through these. Hostel life was fun and social, though facilities could be improved in some areas. Cons: Food in the mess hall was quite repetitive and not always the best quality. Felt a bit disconnected from the city at times, transportation options weren't the most convenient.

Faculty: Industry Cred: Mostly veterans with real-world examples, but some seemed theory-heavy. Teaching Styles: Varied! Interactive lectures, case studies – caters to different learning styles. But a few stuck to old-school methods, zzz. Reaching Out: Most profs are approachable and responsive to emails. But some research-focused ones were less accessible. Mentorship: Dedicated program with some amazing mentors, but experiences vary. The Verdict: It's a mixed bag. Many profs bring industry expertise and engaging styles, but accessibility and mentorship could be more consistent. Do your research and talk to current students before diving in!

Hostel: From single rooms fit for introverts like me to vibrant 4-seater havens for the social butterflies, there's an option for every personality. I snagged a 2-seater with my bestie, and it's our cozy study and gossip central! Wi-Fi is strong and steady, a lifesaver for late-night assignments and movie marathons with friends. Bonus points for the common room with a big-screen TV for movie nights! the occasional power cut or noisy neighbor might happen, but overall, my hostel experience at CU has been positive. It's comfortable, convenient, and offers a vibrant community that feels like a second home. Remember, though, like anything in life, it's what you make of it!
