Overall: No college is not perfect. There are ups and downs. Some departments do well while others do poorly. All in all, it’s a good place to be as long as you’re clear about your objectives and know how to navigate the system.

Faculty: Each faculty member has their own unique expertise and style of teaching. Some faculty members are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their work, while others seem uninterested. It’s a win-win situation, so pick your courses wisely.

Overall: The University Visvesvaraya College of engineering is the first college of Karnataka, and had an outstanding value in earlier days but now it's quality and number of faculty with knowledge is less comparatively, for masters there is no opportunity of placement, and a master's degree need 3 years and bove to complete now because of its administrative delay,

Faculty: The quality of faculty of government appointed faculty is less in number but much knowledgeable persons , B.E in this college classes are mostly taken from guest faculty

Dear Student,

49000 rank in KCET 2023 is way too less to get a seat in the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering. Even though University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering Cutoff 2023 has not been released, as per last years cutoff analysis, the closing ranks for BTech at University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering was 2401 for CSE, 3504 for IT, 5644 for AI, and 8135 for ECE. Hence, we can expect University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering Cutoff 2023 for BE/ BTech to be somewhere between 2400-5600. So, it is not possible to get a seat in University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering with your KCET rank.
