Overall: There’s nothing more that a student wants except good placement & advanced learning. At Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, I am lucky to have received both. The library is stocked with all the latest learning materials so that students can keep themselves updated.
Placement: The placement cell brings industrial giants like Deloitte, Amazon, Genpact, HDFC, and JSW Steel to our campus for giving excellent placement opportunities to the students.
Infrastructure: The facilities offered to students at GNIT are all advanced and develop an excellent learning environment for students. The strong WiFi connection throughout the campus allows students to attend any online session or academic event.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very friendly and quite dedicated when it comes to teaching. Along with offering theoretical knowledge, they support students in the practical lessons as well.
Hostel: As my home was quite far from the college, I had to opt for the hostel facility. The hostel rooms were very tidy and are regularly cleaned. The food quality is also good.
Overall: My experience at GNIT was good enough. The college is recognised by MAKAUT and approved by AICTE. It is accredited by NAAC. It is an old and reputed college in Kolkata for Engineering. The admission process is based on national and state level entrance examination like JEE Main and WBJEE. That means it admits students with good educational background. Placements are also good here.
Placement: I will not say exceptional but placements are good in comparison to other institutions. Many top organizations visited our college for placements such as Accenture, Chegg, Tech Mahindra and may more.
Infrastructure: I really liked the campus of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology. It is adequate to needs of students. Classrooms are spacious and airy. There are smart classrooms and various labs for practical sessions. Library is stocked with various kinds of books. I really loved spending time in play ground at GNIT.

Many academic and extracurricular activities are held in our college that make the environment good for students. The college has good labs for practicals and nice teachers to help students.
Placement: Well, I will be sitting for placements in the fourth year of my graduation but I have seen the placement scenario for my seniors. I can say that the placement is good. Companies from different sectors visit and offer placement to students.
Faculty: The teachers at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology were very nice and helpful. Most of them were PhD holders. Every teacher tried their best to help the students and bring the best out of them. Our dept teachers help us with projects, assignments and preparation for exams.
Hostel: The hostel at GNIT is good enough. It has a mess facility, water, electricity and a warden. You have to do your own laundry though. Moreover, I met boys from different states and learnt a lot from them.
