The Hindu College fees are very nominal since it is a centrally funded university. Apart from this, various concessions are provided to students based on their performance and conduct. To avail of these scholarships, students have to fill out the Hindu College Scholarship form.
Moreover, the students recognised by the Government as SC/ST/OBC can also avail of the concessions provided to them by their respective State Governments. The students of these special categories can apply to the scholarship forms of their State Governments through the principal of the college, soon after their joining.
Some of the prominent Hindu College Scholarships are enlisted below:
Two scholarships of Rs 15,000 each will be provided to Science final year students as per this scheme.
One scholarship each of Rs 12,000 will be provided to 1st year, 2nd year, and 3rd-year students of BA (H) Economics.
The toppers of the 1st year and 2nd year of B.Sc (Chemistry) will be awarded a scholarship of Rs 2,000 each.
As part of this, a scholarship of Rs 6,000 is provided on a merit-cum-means basis. It is awarded to deserving students from the 1st year, 2nd year, and 3rd year each of the BA (H) Economics course.
The toppers of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year of BA (H) History will be awarded a reward of Rs 10,000 each as per this scholarship.
Two scholarships of Rs 10,000 each are provided on a merit-cum-means basis. One student of MA ( Previous) Hindi and One Student of MA ( Final) Hindi, who have completed graduation from Hindu College are awarded this amount.
Two scholarships of Rs 3,000 each to be provided to one first year and one second year student of B.Sc (H) Mathematics.
Two scholarships of Rs 5,000 each for two students of B.Com (H).
